He's a biggish PG and is in his prime atm 29/30 and has heaps of experience in big games/carrying a team in big moments. Unlike past Euroleague PG's coming over later he's athletic/strong enough to play in the NBA.

While the Thunder own his right, they can pawn him off in a trade as a sweetener to get the deal done. According to reports of his agents demands, Micic wants 6-7 million dollars, a starting role (or starting-level minutes), and to play on a contending team.

I don't know anything about Micic, but is there a potential opening here for OKC and Miami to figure something mutually beneficial out?

If OKC wants draft compensation--can this be an opportunity for Miami to send over Oladipo's expiring, get Micic back on a $6-7M deal, and get OKC's hold on the future FRP removed? Maybe inclusion of the #18 pick is incorporated depending on how the future FRP is handled.

IDK just brainstorming here.

He literally tells us why Miami lost out on the Bradley Beal deal, and why they decided to push a specific package. Which was Kyle Lowry & Duncan Robinson, 2023 FRP, Jovic. However Washington did not want any money past this season, so they elected to go elsewhere, what they wanted was Lowry, Oladipo, 2023 FRP, Jovic.

as suspected, Riley tried to be slick and stick it to the Wiz with that horrible Duncan contract, you play with fire you will get your a ss burned.

He has no choice. Our books are phucked right now

Okay here, this would solve all of our problems.

Image

4 team trade (Pat has done these before)

MIA sends - Lowry, Oladipo, Herro, three first rounders
MIA gets - Porzingis, Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson, all on 1 year deals.

WASH gets - salary dumps on 1 year deals. #18 from MIA, Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo, Jordan McLaughlin (scrub)

IND sends - Buddy Hield
IND gets - Tyler Herro, 2027 1st from MIA.

MINN sends - Kyle Anderson, Jordan Mclaughlin
MINN gets - Duncan Robinson, Nikola Jovic, 2029 1st from MIA.

Indy sends out a 30 year old SG, and switches him for a 23 year old SG, former 6th MOY. Good for their youth movement. Herro brings some things that Hield didn't.

Minnesota needs elite 3pt shooting to space the floor for their... frankenstein twin tower thing. They are trying to make it work, and we could easily convince MINNY that what they need is an elite 3pt shooter with playoff experience and performing on the biggest stages (Finals 2x).... they could insert Duncan into their starting lineup next to Gobert and KAT and let him launch treys. Also, they seem to love big men over there, especially Power Forwards.... so give them Jovic. They love bright PF prospects. This is a good deal for them. IN exchange, they send us Kyle Anderson.

We get Porzingis, Kyle Anderson, Buddy Hield, and make 22 mil extra cap space to resign our guys.

lol what. Bam is untouchable. He's only 25 too. We in no need of trading him.

All this time we thought we were going to try and get Dame, meanwhile the Blazers are going to trade for Bam (and maybe Butler :o ) signaling a full tear down of the team and a full rebuild of the Heat?!

I’m not buying it but we’ll see

I've liked the KP idea for years.

He's the Meyers Leonard archetype only much more skilled.

Concerns I have are that the ways that Spo would conceivably use him would be to mostly religate KP to shooting 3s.

I'm also not convinced that he would be a fixture on the floor in late game situations.

I wouldn't make him the top priority but if the big targets turn into misfires, he's an acceptable consolation.

Dame, every young player, every pick and swap, and ownebership rights of the trailblazers to Micky so he has another source of income and will start paying the tax for the Heat :o

If this is Portland's way of saying, "if you want Dame, we need Bam", Riles needs to abort his presser today to go help Bammy pack his bags.

No way we're trading Bam for a pick + assets, lmao. This is Pat Riley and Spo we're talking about. We just made the finals 2 out of the past 4 seasons.

Not hard to see that the Blazers front office put that out to make a mockery out of us and all the Dame to Heat rumors.

Uhh doesn't failed attempts at shipping off the #3 pick just sink its perceived value?

Portland can offer Sharp + Simmons + # 3 and i'd still won't consider giving up Bam.

Their entire roster, Dame included - won't get them 25Yo Bam.

I’m a Heat fan first and foremost, I just call out the stupid **** you all say about our franchise cornerstone. Pat wouldn’t trade Bam for Dame straight up thankfully
