I love Siakam but feel many Raps fans massively overrate him. But on the other hand, like Kevin O'Connor once said, he is "criminally underrated" by the U.S. media and other fanbases.

Prime Paul George was a force, but the dude simply never plays anymore if he doesn't feel like it (a sentiment that is shared by many LAC fans). And Bam is really good, but more of a #3 on a contender IMO.

Hilariously, Siakam is the only of the trio that has accomplished what many fans feel the other 2 can do, but haven't. Unreal.

If true, easy to see why they've failed to put a good team together around Lillard. Both sides need to realize Siakam for #3 as centerpieces make too much sense and just do it.

That should tell you Portland really doesn't wanna build around Dame any longer. Going for players that have 0 chance of being on the market is hilarious.

It's better for them to trade Dame anyways because I don't see any move they can make that would make them legit title contenders unless they trade all their assets (3rd pick + Sharpe + Simons + 23rd Pick).

IMO Pascal has been great in spite the FO. He isn’t a #1 option but many people don’t even see him as a legit 2 and that’s because the FO put a trash team around him. Very little rim pressure, shooting or iso scoring around him. Then to top it off, the crappy bench resulted in him playing too many minutes while having to guard centres and play a high intensity defensive scheme.

They let that man down. Ant and 3 should be a no brainer for Portland if they want to compete now but right now they see it as an overpay.

Pascal playing off of Dame’s gravity with other shooters on the court would be extremely hard to guard. And we’ve seen how great he can be defensively when he isn’t playing 38 minutes as the sole offensive creator.
