Atlanta reportedly wants scoring on the wing and to move collins...Maybe...idk, seems like it might need more added from Boston, not sure how much.

I have Brogdons value as higher than Collins right now.
Grant and Okongwu right now probs pretty equal
Griffin hasnt done much.

What is Masai's deal? He has a reputation as a great executive but he's looking like late Joe Dumars right now. You're not good enough. Barnes making a leap can't fix it.

cl2117 wrote:The weird thing about an Ayton trade is that they definitely need a C coming back. You're breaking him into 2-3 pieces and one still needs to be an at least borderline starting quality C, plus ideally a PG as well.

If it's us and Atlanta in the conversation, they've got the C's (Capela/Okongwu), we've got PGs (Brogdon/Pritchard). Just don't see how it all comes together.

We could add one of our C's, but Horford doesn't have enough left in the tank to play the minutes they'd need him to. Adding Rob to Brogdon is giving up too much value in my opinion and PHX have nothing left to give back.

Rob/Pritchard is interesting. Move Brogdon separately to a third team free up cap space.

BOS: Ayton, #17

PHX: Rob, Pritchard, Bamba, Beasley

LAL: Brogdon

Smart/ Davison
Brown/ White
Tatum/ Hauser
Grant/ Gallo/ Muscala
Ayton/ Kornet

#17 and #35 used to round things out.

This is pretty good value for each team. Ayton is an overall upgrade to 2023 Rob, and Celtics get the pick.

You left off Al though! He would still be waaay ahead of Kornet on the depth chart.

Celtics find a sharp-shooter 3 & D guy to replace Brogdon and we're good to go.

Ayton and John Collins look like basketball players, but looks can be deceiving.

Almost looks like he's maybe favoring his foot/leg..

Yikes, that Youtuber is not parsing his words. I was overseas and saw none of that series. Was Ayton that bad? Or injured. Maybe it is the selected clips but he's made to look indifferent.

You guys can have Ayton or Jaylen but not both.

Ayton actually makes this team mentally softer if that's possible.

At best he should be coming off the bench

Horford just owned the MVP in the playoffs once again. And I don’t care that Embiid was injured, Al was old.

Horford
7 PPG
7 Rebounds
2 Assists
2 Blocks
40% shooting

Embiid
25 PPG
9 Rebounds
2 Assists
3 Blocks
42% shooting

Owned is a strange way of looking at it. Boston has to upgrade Horford, not sure how anyone can disagree

Agreed. I don't like either of them at all, especially for a team with our mental makeup. Same with Towns.

Celtics are not interested in Ayton, they are interested in a 3 way trade involving Ayton.

If that was the case then a straight trade Brogdon for Collins would happen. Hawks wouldn't do that in a million years.

If they wanted Collins they’d have him by now. What could they be haggling over at this point?

I think you might have erred here, sure brogdon is probably valued a bit higher than collins atm but Okongwu is rated and worth a heck of a lot more than grant, even if you think theyre equivalent as players, Kong still has 1 more year to go at 8 mil before being rfa, while grant has to get paid now. Griffin is the real crux here, he's a very promising 19/20 year old who has great size and showed amazing shooting potential. This would be highway robbery for the Celtics. Atlanta hangs up without responding. They also dont need or want brogdon with Trae, DJM and Bogi already in place

I'm not saying the Celtics are going to get John Collins but teams hold off until draft day because maybe some other team gets desperate and offers Atlanta more in this example.

Unplayable is WAYYYYYYYY too strong but he should be coming off the bench, without question. His defense is still very good, but offensively he was good in the regular season and then fell off a cliff in the playoffs
