June 21: Opt-in deadline for Porzingis

Going to be interesting to see what he does. I think he will opt-in and then get traded on draft day. Probably not the Celtics.

Horford
7 PPG
7 Rebounds
2 Assists
2 Blocks
40% shooting

Embiid
25 PPG
9 Rebounds
2 Assists
3 Blocks
42% shooting

Owned is a strange way of looking at it. Boston has to upgrade Horford, not sure how anyone can disagree

Unplayable is WAYYYYYYYY too strong but he should be coming off the bench, without question. His defense is still very good, but offensively he was good in the regular season and then fell off a cliff in the playoffs

He was unplayable at times especially with his shooting. We do agree he should be coming off the bench. Not really shocking he fell off a cliff in the playoffs offensively because he is old and the games obviously get harder.

I think Indiana would love to get Ayton for Hield.. turn around and move Turner to the Lakers for 17 and Beasley’s non-guaranteed final year? They’d come away with more cap room..

He's a FA and we have no cap space to sign him.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Our big get this offseason would be Kelly Olynyk. After playing for several teams, I think he’s now matured and ready to lead us to a title.

At best he should be coming off the bench

Look at what role each guy needs to perform for their team to be successful.
Holding Embiid to 8ppg under his regular season scoring average is *exactly* Horford's.

If they can upgrade Al? Great. Happy with Siakam, Carter Jr., Vucevic, Olynyk, Myles Turner, and probably a bunch of other dudes like Valenciunas or Adams.

But I don't think any of those guys can do the same thing against Embiid. And most importantly Embiid knows it. You know how we've owned the Sixers for the last half decade? Al is a huge reason why, including this spring.

ATL: Powell for Collins
LAC: Brogdon for Powell
BOS: Collins for Brogdon

As a basis. Add minor pieces/picks as needed.

The problem with that trade is the Clippers are probably going to get Chris Paul for garbage thus ending their need for Brogdon, otherwise it works for me.

I'm assuming/hoping for LAL instead, but definitely a possibility

Boston media is crap. Loves to poopoo on our team but can’t even make up trade rumors when we need them.

Would y'all do a straight Brogs for Collins swap?

Atl gets the better player, but Cs get someone at a position of need.

Collins, Griffin and Okongwu to Boston?

Smart/Pritchard
Brown/White
Tatum/Griffin
Collins/Horford
Timelord/Okongwu

You generate a lot of ideas that look awesome largely because the other team likely wouldn’t be interested?

I’d do this one easily though

yeah, I was gonna suggest we send Brogdon/Horford/Gallo/Pritchard/#35 to Milwaukee for Giannis. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.

Other than the fact that Atlanta doesn't need Brogdon, doesn't want Brogdon, this deal is...

Not bad. But who starts at PF for the hawks?

They now have a big logjam at wing (they already had a wing longjam since AJ Griffin, their top 20 pick from last season who was playing well for them, fell out of the rotation once they traded for Bey) and now you compound that logjam by adding Powell..

If Cs are already supermaxxing JB, I don’t think they take on more long-term money unless player is a slam dunk and cost/deal is hard to pass up. We’re more likely to go after Porzingis (we won’t) than Ayton or Collins.

Collins rumors seem like Atlanta just trying to find a taker for the nth trade season/cycle and dump JC’s contract.
