Well, that would be an interesting, though confusing move for the Wolves.

Jimmy Stewart has never been right about a rumor in his life. Ever.

98.5 is quite possibly the worst thing to ever happen to sports media in this city

Yeah these guys I never write about rumors but I disagree about 98.5. it's much better to have competition than WEEI being the only game in town.

2000s WEEI programming before the hub was a difficult listen. As frustrating as 98.5 can get, you're right... ill take it all day over those days

We can wait for Luke Kornet to win MVP this season so we’re champs in 2025 or sign Derrick Rose or Russell Westbrook.

Sounds like a guy who just needs an opportunity to play bigger minutes…

The key is Tatum. It always has been Tatum.

How about Okongwu from Atlanta. We were rumored to have liked him in the draft. He's a young mobile big.

the trade machine say Brogdon for Okongwu works straight up.

Never understood the deal with Toppin, haven’t watched him. But Thibodeau has the biggest doghouse of any coach in the league and just stops playing guys with no explanation.

They are pretty high on him I think, I would imagine they would prefer to move Cap so they can start Okongwu

And when starting the last game of the regular season in 2023, Payton Pritchard is averaging a 30pt triple double.

They are bad at game analysis, trade news, rumors, and most other stuff. But one thing they are good at is tearing into the team, players, and management when things go wrong. They are usually right most times on that. Their gripes are usually consistent with takes on these boards.

This is posturing. Ayton will be moved at the draft. Not to the Celtics

Maybe. That post helps his case. It also helps his case that he was the 8th pick in the draft, only 3 yrs ago. His 3 pt % jumped quite a bit this past season which is a good sign, and he shot the 3 at a higher volume. He has good size and athleticism for the 4 spot.

With that being said, his BPM is meh. His BPM, PPG, rebound %, PER, blocks % all dropped a little bit compared to the season before. The rebound % and blocks % are a little lower than you'd like from a PF.

But perhaps he just needs a change of scenery, maybe he was in the doghouse so he was less motivated, and his performance dropped a little bit because he was getting less minutes, less touches so was in less of a rhythm. I guess all stuff some might say about Pritchard.

But at least Toppin's 3 pt volume and % went up. And he's still just 25. And shot 39% from 3 on decent volume his last year of college.

I might take a flier on him, if the price tag isn't too high. Play him off the bench, with an opportunity to move into the starting lineup if he plays well enough..

Trade Brown straight up for Lavine. Get Porzingis for smart and Rob.

White
Lavine
Tatum
Grant/ Gallo/ horf
Porzingis

That lineup will beat any team

The wizards wouldn't touch that trade.

I sense a lot of angst in this post.

No one on our roster has won a title hehe.

There is. If you have elite talents thats one thing but this team isn't good enough where good role players are untradeable.

Just wait for when they give him a no trade clause in his next contract lol.

The wording in the headline is a joke 'proper value'. Value is dictated by the market (buyers), not the desires of the seller. As in, they are still well overvaluing him and no one will bite

Hmm, this sounds just like Pritchard haha

Knicks aren't gonna want Pritchard, though. They have Brunson and Quickley.

So maybe a 3 team deal..

I’m not sure if Toppin has had a better career yet than Kenny “Sky” Walker, but I’ve just never been interested in him as a player.
