Just found out that Judy Reznick also know as "Mrs Whammy" has passed away. She lived an amazing life and along with Mr Whammy were beloved by the Nets fan community. Deepest condolences to Mr Whammy.

RIP

3 guys have registered 10+ isolation possessions so far this season

Luka Doncic: 14—1.64 ppp
Kevin Durant: 13—0.61
Cam Thomas: 13—1.08

Damn... That sucks if that's the timeline. Really need to put Claxton and Simmons on the court at the same time to see if they can figure things out.

Dont you guys get offended how Cam Thomas isnt included in this top players under 25 list? The kid is averaging almost 30 a game at age 22. Wont be surprised if he averages 33-35ppg at age 25

This tweet links to a good article overviewing the nets decisions with Murray and to a lesser degree DLo (or a future pursuit of Mitchell).

Sidenote - it's crazy that DLo (27) is the same age as the other 2.

I think I choose Murray despite the heftier price tag for the upside. DLo feels too much like a younger version of the problems they are having with Dinwiddie (streaky, negative on d, and less effective with greater volume). Murray seems to be showing why he was worth what he was a few years ago as he gets more lead guard volume.

My guess is we ultimately see some kind of combo move where the nets send out 1-2 vets (dinwiddie, dfs, royce) and bring back picks that help them get Murray. Hopefully an interesting thrown in young player or 2 as well to refill the roster spots.

The one thing that concerns me with Murray is that his strong play has not contributed to winning in San Antonio or Atlanta. Atlanta's win totals have declined in the 2 years he has been there.

Mixing him with Trae was just a weird fit that didnt work. SAS was bad with him at the end, sure, but then a lot worse without him. In the 3 years before getting top pick they were competitive at least (mid 30's wins).

I'm not saying he's a guy who will raise the boat like Mitchell has shown he can do, but i think he's a step in the right direction. I think he's on a similar level to Bridges and fits decently with Cam T in a backcourt since he can play some D.
