We were assured that his value would be higher this offseason compared to February. Were we lied to?

Siakam wasn't on the market at the deadline. Were you asleep?

Correct
once that clock starts its going to be mayhem lol
Interesting. If Charlotte really selects Brandon Miller, Realgm might crash after the Portland pick

Wrong, number do lie, Pascal was the first option and stat padding while Bam was the second to Butler and sometimes even the 3rd option on offence. I doubt that there are any teams in the NBA and that's including the Raptors organization that would take Pascal over Bam. I cant believe that this is even a debate
well i doubt Bam would be even remotely effective as a 1st option. he's pretty one dimensional on offense.
why does 1st option on offense matter for either players? neither are top 20 offensive players(impact) in the league.
Bam is more valuable than Pascal overall because he is far superior defensively at a position which allows more lineups outputs out there. Pascal is better than Bam on offense obviously but he is just not that great of an offensive player even if he is playing of a better offensive player. He just is never going to be that efficient of a scorer due to his shot diet and pull up ability. Impact stats would say FVV been the best offensive player on this team last 2 years btw.
I think Bam with Lillard > Lillard/Pascal personally due to him doing a lot of **** Dray does for Curry on offense (screening/short roll playrmaker, relocation passing). Pat wouldn't trade him though.

There's nothing indicating that was a certainty, and that's beside the point anyway. Is Siakam more valuable as a trade piece now than he was in February?

"Patience" "Winning" "Internal Growth" He needs to shake up the lingo.

Chris Paul when he was traded to Houston?

How would you possibly know if his value is higher now in the off-season vs. February at the trade deadline when you have no idea what the trade discussions are? Why exactly are you complaining without having all the information available?

Maybe? Who knows really.
Would be fun if this was all transparent.
Both posturing right now
