That would be a terrible deal for Boston to make, massive overpay

Yeah, Brogdon, PP, Muscala enough salary. Add 25 1st, call it good. Brogs to LAC, they kick in 30 to offload salary to Wiz.

Brogdon, Cchampagnie, #35 and Kornet to Lakers

Beasley and Muscala and a boston 2024 first to Washington

Porzingas and #17 to Boston?

Washington gets 2 expirings and a future first for KP
Lakers get a starting PG and some cheap depth for trash and a pick

Celtics cash out on depth and land a mid pick and a starter at PF.

Smart/Pritch
Brown/White
Tatum/#17
Porzingas/Gallo
Timelord/Horford

So just in the past 3 hours we had rumors about Ayton, using PP to move up, Grant S&T with Dallas, and now Kristaps. Maybe Brad isn't sleeping after all. 8-)

Kristaps is a good fit here but isn't he even more injury prone than Timelord?

a league source tells MassLive that any trade involving Porzingis would be centered around the inclusion of Malcolm Brogdon as a salary matching piece along with other assets (draft/player). Boston would likely retain Payton Pritchard in such a scenario as he would slot into a reserve guard position if Brogdon were dealt unless the Wizards insisted on his inclusion in a deal.

The Celtics would only need to include just over $27 million in salary if any deal for Porzingis is completed before the start of the next league year (June 30th). Boston has several minimum salaries on their roster that could fill that gap.

3 latest rumors on Twitter, the last is best.

1. shams Porzingas rumor
2. Horford and Grant plus 2 picks for Miles Turner
3. JD Davison had a growth spurt and is now 6-8
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

So ownership - ready to supermax Jaylen - is also willing to add 14 million to the payroll with Porzingis, who's due for a new contract in a year...?

I imagine Draft Choices would have to be involved, but that is really low cost...
