Scoot

NBADraft

SportingNews
Fran Fracilla
ClutchPoints
SBNation
Rod Boone :)
B/R/Wasserman (his mock shows Miller, but he said he his pick would be Scoot)

NoCeilingsNBA/Tyler Metcalf
UpsideSwings
John Hollinger
Nate Duncan

Miller

JJ Redick
Kevin Pelton

Not to mention Woj, Vecenie, Givony, Redick all reporting that NBA front office executives had Miller passing Scoot on their boards.
but yeah Clutch Points, Sporting News and Upside Swings all seem super credible and worth mentioning here....

Rod Boone already did an article a few days ago where Bilas said he would take Miller over Scoot if it was his call.

Major coverage saying it will be Miller. The other picks per these outlets:

ESPN (Givony): #2 Brandon Miller, #27 Leonard Miller, #34 Trayce Jackson-Davis, #39 Jalen Wilson, #31 Jordan Walsh

The Athletic (Sam Veceini): #2 Brandon Miller, #27 Nick Smith Jr, #34 Brice Sensabaugh, #39 Julian Strawther, #41 GG Jackson

The Athletic (John Hollinger): #2 Brandon Miller, #27 Brandin Podziemski (2nd round N/A)

Bleacher Report (Jonathan Wasserman): #2 Brandon Miller, #27 Jordan Walsh, #34 Amari Bailey, #39 GG Jackson, #41 Seth Lundy

The Ringer (Kevin O'Conner): #2 Brandon Miller, #27 Kris Murray, #34 Maxwell Lewis, #39 Marcus Sasser, #41 Rayan Rupert
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I always liked to have my OWN STYLE. I never fit in growing up. I was often shunned. I always tried to stay on the straight and narrow and in doing so you often get shut out of things... I stayed a virgin till I was nearly 30 years old *my choice* So while being shut out I embraced the gifts God gave us all, and that gift is loving yourself. So I got so used to doing things alone that it felt normal.
That's honestly wonderful, and refreshing to hear.

the list isnt what people are hearing or what they believe will happen. i'm looking for people who have gone on record with their opinion on who they believe is 2nd best player.
its not that complicated

Very much of the mind that I don't care at all what "people" say, both because I don't think anyone knows what we're doing and I don't think these "reports" validate anything real.

Also I just don't care, we'll find out tomorrow.

Can you post the mocks that actually matter. I haven't heard of most of those mocks.

Also Jay Bilas the draft expert was just on Sports Center and said Brandon Miller is the 2nd best player in the draft.

If I remember correctly, Bilas always seemed to be biased in favor of NCAA athletes. Case in point, a lot of times on draft night he would say we were winners and always seemed to have positive reviews of who we ended up taking, and, well, we saw how poorly most of those NCAA stars worked out for us...

He seemed a lot like Dick Vitale in that regard.

Speaking of Dick, he has us taking Miller and Brandin Podziemski.

Brandin is going to be stoned as hell. Or maybe he's a member of Korn (I swear I've made this joke before, it seems to familiar)

you've never heard of - nbadraft.net, the athletic/sam vecenie, john hollinger, nate duncan, jon wasserman, fran fraschilla etc...? those are some pretty big names in the draft community.

the point of all of it, the people who cover the draft for their jobs are pretty much split 50/50 on the best player available.
if either side says otherwise its just confirmation bias

Im just going off what I see on tv bro. Woj is pretty much the best in the business, sure he is wrong every once in a while but most of the time I trust what he says.

Also if you believe in Vegas odds they had Miller as the favorite last I checked.
