Yeah, I don't think he makes it but he may not want to be traded anywhere because he is holding out hope he does. He can only get a supermax if he is with the team that had him under a rookie contract.
Atlanta might give us proper return because Murray is an expiring they probably can't extend even with the new 140% extension rules.

They just have an extension basically agreed upon with Murray and I’d be ok with it assuming Okongwu + Griffin are in the deal too.

But of course the 3rd pick is the goal.

I assume salary would be Murray, Bogdonovic, #15, maybe the Kings '24 1st. I think people expecting the guys they have under rookie contract fail to understand that they are in a financial crunch that they are trying to solve to resign their younger guys. Maybe they can flip salary to Mavs and offer us the 10th pick instead of the #15 as rumored.

Just seems like a weird trade all around with Atlanta.

I really don't love Dejounte. Would rather get like Griffin, Okongwu, Bogdanovic for salary, #15. FLip Bogdanovic to LA for #17/Beasley/Bamba

At that point tho you would have so many bigs and wings. Probably gotta consolidate for a guard or two

AJ Griffen/Okongwu/Hunter/Collins/Johnson/Bogi/Murray. Could combine some of those guys and picks into a trade.

Hawks are a more realistic trade partner than the Blazers.

Unless Murray is getting routed to a third team, I don’t get it. Don’t think the Raps want to pay Murray who probably won’t make an all star team again.
