Call it in!

In a french interview wemby mentioned that Bilal should be ranked higher than the twins as he is better than them, as athletic as them, played against stronger competition than them and he is younger than them.

I agree with him and this is why I d like to trade down to Utah to grab him at 9 and scoop a Future FRP in that deal

THIS!!!!!

This feels like a big smokescreen they want Wash or Utah to give up a future asset for 6. Washington might be dumb enough to do it. If they move back to 8 are they targeting Coulibaly and a shooter at 11. I don’t think black has any insight but I do think we use both picks and one is any form of guard I think Anthony might be on the move.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

He's just stating the obvious. The writing has been on the wall for Cole Anthony for a while now.

Not so sure about that. He's the one guy we have (other than the starters) that has a defined role and thrived in it.

It all matters how much $$ though - there is value to his game that is different from Fultz/Suggs.
Having a "defined role" at this stage of the rebuild is exactly what makes him expendable.

Why do you think that? I could see it if we were still in a kicking-the-can-down-the-road stage, but FO/team seems lockstep in competing asap. Not in terms of like, Hennigan style trading young guys for vets compete, but having continuity in roles and higher expectations sort of competing, while integrating rook(s).

I just don’t think the touch is there like he shot 60% in high school from the free throw line. He also was a multiple sport athlete and checks all the hard working character boxes to put in the work to get better.

Slow, low, and almost robotic release. You can tell he feels uncomfortable. It’s going to take a really long time.

Cole is hands down the most under appreciated player on this team. He played really well in his role last season and people want to trade him for no damn reason.

I can see him pricing himself out, depending on what sort of role he wants/continuing his nice play, but yeah I think anybody wanting him gone will notice a big scoring punch/second ball-handler hole.

This draft can go so many directions. I’m going to just keep an open mind.

Yep - it forces you to. It'd be nice if every lotto talent matched up with need but some drafts are heavily skewed towards certain positions.

I'm still not entirely sure we draft two guys. Or at least in the positions we have right now.

Ngl I think we take Coulibaly at 6 in a defensive move to fend off others. Guy's game looks incredible in spurts on both ends. We could then be left with some flexibility at 11 to pick up a guard. It would shake up the draft if we did that and might drop a guy to #11 that was due to go 8th or 9th as teams fall over themselves to pick guys they didn't plan to be there.

Vassell would be a dream get. Spurs are not going to let him go. They want Vassell AND Coulibaly more than likely.

At first glance I thought you said getting Vassell would be a wet dream. My eyes are jacked from all this scrolling

I really don’t know who I want.

I can talk myself into so many guys who should be there at 6 and 11. But there’s no one I’m excited about, either. I don’t see any future stars. But there are high level complimentary pieces. Give me Ausar as he’ll have the highest ceiling and then Dick/Hawkins or BPA. Would really like Walker if he’s there at 6.

Don’t understand the perma-boners so many have aboht Vassell. I’d be happy to get him, but not for the price so many suggest.

It's kind of weird to say that, and then leave.

I dont see anything Anthony Black does that our guards already dont.

Bufkin is the guy I want us to land 100% at 11

You can probably blame all the Anthony Black and Grady Dick talk.
