A player like Sensabaugh or GG Jackson could fall to us in the second round. Can't see us using the pick unless we make some kind of consolidation trade.

If I’m the Magic, I’m rubbing my hands together with these other people saying they are passing on Whitmore. In the right hands he has superstar potential and could be that third star we have been desperately looking for.

To me while I see the potential in Black and Hendricks, (and some of these other names at 6), those picks to me reek of overthinking what should be a simple decision if Cam, Amen or Ausar is there.

I feel like the 6 pick has a substantially higher possibility of being a major contributor so I’m much more nervous about the team zagging there because they think themselves smarter than others. Do that tomfoolery if you must with the 11th pick please.

The most frustrating thing every year is the Magic don’t even wait to see who is still there, they announce the inevitable cash considerations trade with a team like the Lakers 10 picks into the draft.

David Steele podcasted the idea of a 2/3 with some 1 ability, here he is. His consensus went from a prospect in the 30's or even 40's of the second round and now into the first round after the combine. Now there are even rumored looks at him as low as the mid teens.

Sheppard is a 6'6 SG who previously played PG. 47 FG%. 41 3P% on 6 attempts. 70 FT% on 4 attempts. 3 APG. 5 RPG. He wasn't a sexy pick because he played 4 years in College instead of 1 or 2, and will be turning 22 not too long after the draft. I literally see that as a strength instead.

also because of his school and conference. the MVC not exactly a strong conference at all, so hard to really determine how good he is

Ausar now the betting favorite to go #5 to Detroit.

Black/Ausar even odds to go #6 with Cam being a distant 3rd.

Oddsmakers think Orlando is taking Ausar if available, if not then Black.

Idk about "active" but definitely around that or more total. We're a pretty decent sized board, moreso when we're winning.

Well.... we tend to be more when player fans join us. Remember the darkoholics and the VC fan club? Ahhh... those were the days...

But yeah... i would think there are less than 30 of us active posters here..

^ This is pretty much what I expect at this point. But we'll see. They could throw a curve ball pretty easily if they want.

Would be hilarious if it’s Cam and they’ve just worked it so no one trades up to get him.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

So before today, my wish was always Thompson twin or bust.

But today, my only wish is anybody but Anthony Black.

The only thing that will get me more pumped than trading up for Scoot will be Orlando taking Keyonte George.

I suspect he's our starting SG in most draft scenarios

Not particularly excited about the 6th pick because I don't think the guys listed are guys we need moving forward. So the Magic can take a swing at a player they think has a high upside. I'm more interested in the 11th pick or even trading down. One of Nick Smith Jr, Keyonte George, Gradey Dick or Jordan Hawkins between 11 and 15 and I'm good

To be fair, I've always believed Anthony was likely to be dealt given he is extension eligible soon. If the Magic do draft Black, I wonder if the Magic intend to package Anthony or Suggs and the #11 to add some depth elsewhere.

Also, the amount of Black traction that came out today was a little odd. I wouldn't be surprised if it was all smoke like last year and Jabari Smith.
What was the Anthony Black quote please, can't find it anywhere?

If the Magic want a lead ball handler, I think I'd rather have Bufkin over Black.
