I just love his midrange and rim game and ability to get a bucket. I also feel uneasy still about Miller but will be happy either way

the thing i like about Scoot is he has the want too, He wants to be great and you cant coach that

See I don't really get that.

I'll admit that I don't have social media and don't have much knowledge beyond clicking through what you guys post on here, but I see a lot more of "brand building" from Scoot than I do Mamba Mentality or Having that Glizzy in Him.

Making movies, shoe deals, losing record in the G League, skipping games, ending the season early, etc.

It comes off as "I already made it" before he's even drafted.

I believe that he’ll get the “come back to reality” when arriving in the NBA. Which will revive hill will to train.

Teammates from g league told Scoot was first at 4 am in the gym working out and last leaving the gym.

*If* the team was pointing toward Miller, and in the last 48 hrs *changed direction*, to me there can only be one catalyst: MJ
And sometimes Mitch just isn't very good at speaking and says some absolutely idiotic s*** like he did in that initial press conference.

Or it was a smoke screen.

It didn't make sense then, it doesn't make sense now, it doesn't make sense to absolutely anyone in basketball, that our front office would believe that our roster is good enough that we can draft for fit with the number to pick in the draft.

All that being said, it is very possible that MJ has showed up at the last possible minute and thrown a wrench into everything by preferring scoot when our GM and Scouts have leaned miller.

Maybe we'll get some details on all of this after the Smoke Clears in a few weeks. Probably be as some skathing comments from Bill Simmons on one of his podcasts.

All I can say is as a fan who has been hoping for a long time to see MJ cede basketball decisions to a less egocentric decision maker, it feels so very MJ that the new ownership group appears to be affording him, on his way out the door, this one last chance to meddle.
