The Suns gave up a bunch of swaps which will be pretty useless, can't imagine the Wiz being better than the Suns anytime soon. The only real first they got was the 2030 first from the Warriors for CP3.

I disagree - the swaps in 26,28 & 30 could be meaningful as the Suns big 3 probably has 2-3 years at best.

For 2028 the Nets have the rights to swap, they would get the worst of those two picks between the Nets and Suns as per the KD trade.
2028 first round draft pick to Brooklyn (swap, Brooklyn or Philadelphia incoming)
Brooklyn has the right to swap its 2028 1st round pick or, if conveyed to Brooklyn, Philadelphia's 2028 1st round pick for Phoenix's 2028 1st round pick [Brooklyn-Indiana-Milwaukee-Phoenix, 2/9/2023]

The 2026 swap won't happen. Suns will still be better than the Wiz in 3 years, Beal and Book will still be good, Book is only 27 and Beal 29, Wiz will be tanking for the next 2-3 years. So its only really the 2030 swap that could have some value.

I would not speak with so much certainty. KD will be done by 2026. Booker/Beal will make over $100M combined that year. There is a legit chance once KD is done they are capped out with no picks, no cap space, no assets. Not to mention Beal is injury prone AF and Ayton is tanking his value.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

So basically Masai saying the same deals available at the deadline would be there in the off-season was a load of crap just like many of us said  fraudulent as hell

Hilarious. They won’t take our trade so they are overvaluing their player. Few temper tantrums emanating from the Pacific Northwest

Portland’s been leaky as hell since the new guys took over. And they clearly are trying to play a PR game.

They pushed the OG is unhappy narrative last year as well.

I dont understand. Clearly the deals are there, the guy is not giving anyone a guarantee that he’s re-sign. You really think it would have been different 4 months ago??

I’d gladly keep him if he wants to be here so bad. Needs to back it up with a discount though so we know he really means it lol.

Should have traded these dudes last deadline. The only tanking the FO was willing to do was tanking the value of our only assets. What a joke

Right?

These idiots are making huge conclusions based on absolutely nothing  For all we know we were offered poo poo platters at the deadline and knew those same **** deals would be available today.

The Suns may not be very good in 2026, but the Wiz will still be pretty terrible. They are just starting their full on tank and rebuild so they will be getting top picks in 2024 and 2025. I doubt they are able to rebuild that quickly and be better than the Suns by 2026. That would be a pretty quick rebuild and they would have to hit on all picks.

It sucks that a player being open about wanting to stay on toronto will ultimately end up being a negative for our plans

He will if he makes all-nba next season. I don’t think he’s signing the max extension this summer.
