It would be nice if we could draft Trayce Jackson-Davis.

I talked briefly about the value still available to us in the late 2nd round and even into the undrafted range too. And in trying to find another Cam Johnson archetype or even an Austin Reeves archetype player that proved incredibly valuable to the Lakers in the postseason too. These types of extreme value "hidden gem" players that often go unrecognized or unnoticed could offer critical cost-controlled value for us and also become cost-controlled high-value assets for us over the coming 4-5 years. I've discovered a player that is actually very, very similar to Austin Reeves and Cam Johnson in many ways. And could very likely be had even at the 57th pick or possibly even in the undrafted range:

Hunter Tyson (Clemson)
https://nbadraftroom.com/hunter-tyson/
6'8 215 lbs with a near 6'10 wingspan. Hunter is a very skilled very fluid combo forward with a beautiful shooting stroke and a very high IQ, high motor, great passion and tenacity, just a very fiery and cerebral competitive player overall. Is an underrated passer and aggressive rebounder for his position. Is also adept at hitting big shots and is a very good movement shooter.

Moses Wood (Portland)
A 6'8 210 lb combo forward with great versatility and a very high basketball IQ, is a fiery, aggressive player that's also an underrated passer, ballhandler, and a elite knockdown shooter.

Both players fit the Austin Reeves archetype an would offer really solid value towards depth for us in those ranges!!

Yes! Davis would be an absolute steal for us IF we're somehow able to get into the late/ first/early 2nd round. He's phenomenal as an impact player in terms of production, win shares, and BPM. He's number #1 on my board with Coulilaby out of range for us. Missing out on him IF we could get him would be an epic failure that'd haunt us for a long time in terms of lost value. We need to be super aggressive in securing some more 2nds, especially in the early to mid 2nd range.

I was just wondering if maybe if in an Ayton trade, we can nab #11 from Orlando and take Coulilaby lol. Imagine getting him and Suggs? The defense is solved right there. Just re-sign Biz/Jock and there we go. I'd take that deal straight up for Ayton. They can even add in some trash contracts for us to take on if they want.

Coulilaby might be young, but he's also played in some big games. Being Wemby's teammate he's absolutely used to being the other guy and fitting in where he can. A little young but that's fine as all we need is defense and intensity. The fact that he's 6'7 with a 7'3 wingspan is crazy....

I dont think Coulibaly lasts after the top10 tbh
He's exactly what EVERY team needs right now.

Absolutely why I want the 11th in exchange for taking back contracts like Isaac and Harris for them. As I've been saying for a while now, Coulilaby is Bridges 2.0. But I do think we could be quite clever in a 3 team trade to pull the 11th pick by doing something along these lines:

Orlando/Chicago/Phoenix
Orlando- DeRozan/ Portland 24' 1st (lotto protected).
Chicago- Ayton/Anthony/ 36th pick.
Phoenix- Caruso/ Isaac/ Bol Bol/ 11th pick.
OR
Caruso/Isaac/Suggs/ 11th pick?

If you like the draft you probably need to find a mistress team to root for.

I've been a NBA polygamist for the past 20 years, it's great until your teams meet in the finals. That actually sucked.

(grew up in Wisconsin so root for the bucks but moved to Phoenix in 2002 so also root for the Suns)

Tankathon mock has us taking this guy. Check out his pass at 50 seconds. Looks a little like Bridges the second plays and nice shot creation on the 4th one.

Alright....just remember, Manu Ginobili was taken 57th! We got Ceballos at 48th. Dragic was taken at 46th and Jokic at 41st.

Should be nice to pair with Turner, but pretty raw. Only averaged 4 boards a game.
