So OKC takes on Bertans contract to leapfrog the Magic at 11, but then take Cason Wallace?

Seems bizarre.

Wow that is a steep price OKC is paying to jump the Magic.

The magic are not contending anytime soon, they have plenty of time if they chose to start Black.

The Magic just jumped up by 13 wins last season. They are not looking to go back to being among the worst in the league.

I didn't say they are going to be the worst team in the league, I said they aren't contending anytime soon. This team is massively young, their best player is only 20 years old not close to prime years. Management is not making any effort to add vets to start winning games. And the rebuild only begin two years ago. This team has plenty of team to build if they chose to start Black, lol.

Tough choice between Cam and Dick... I hate not going with the shooting but I'd go with Cam unless the medical issue are the reason Cam has been falling

Magic took Black and all the swingman I liked are still on the Board at #11. Whitmore/Dick/Bufkin. I'm good either way.

I think people here undervalue IQ. And not sure you can considering who just won it all. And I’m not just talking Jokic. The whole team made the right pass, the right cuts and the right shot selection.

Makes no sense. No way were we taking Wallace after taking Black right?

Why did they move up one spot...did the Pacers tell them some other team was going to jump them?

No idea.

My best guess is that the Raptors were going to trade up from 13 to 11 to take Wallace and OKC found out about it.

Makes me think we would’ve picked him. I’d drool over Suggs, Black and Wallace in the guard rotation.

Black is a hell of a defender, and a strong passer. Gary Payton couldn’t shoot a lick when he got to the NBA and developed his three point range after a few years.

Maybe Black becomes the next Glove? That would be pretty nice.
