This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Seems bizarre.

Makes no sense. No way were we taking Wallace after taking Black right?

I think the Raptors and Magic had a deal 11 for 13.

This sounds contradictory. They took Black to play with Fultz, but it's hard to play them together?

I have ZERO clue why they took this guy. Worse shooter than Fultz, Cole and Suggs. Not the athlete that Fultz is. Not the defender that Suggs is. Not the leader that Cole is.

Might not want to pay Cole and Fultz.

We will see what happens.

to be honest i wouldn't have hated a 3 guard rotation of Black, Wallace, and Suggs.

Lively

I said weeks ago that the Magic were going PG and Center.

I did not know if it was going to be Amen, Black or Wallace and Lively, but it mode the most sense for the team.

Now with Whitmore still available, that is a monkey wrench

Wallace is a great pick for OKC. Very smart.

OKC always pick the guys I like! Xatticus is so lucky.

Well Cason is a better PG than Black. So there's that.

So far I've got 7 of my top 10 right in the mock draft I made, if you count Walker to Indy as valid (just a spot later); the top 5 and Walker and Cason at 10. That's pretty good, I think. Had Black at 9 to Utah.

As funny as it would be to have Gradey, I think we'll go with that guy who's been falling.
Whitmore.

I also had Wallace as the most NBA ready PG in the draft.

His injury was concerning.

MaKiaVeLi7 wrote:Anthony Black is not as similar to Markelle Fultz as many here believe him to be. Yes, they have some common nuances in their playing style, but AB is already miles better defender than Kelle and he will develop his defensive potential even further because the drive and mentality are there from what I see of him.

Also, he is not burdened by multiple serious injuries like Kelle, he's younger and will fit right in with the current Magic roster. I believe he is as dynamic as Kelle, but will be a better shooter than him pretty soon, his shot is not broken like Kelle's in the past seasons.

I am excited to see if Kelle-AB 2-guard lineups are possible and effective, that would be fun to watch. If not, we still have Suggs and Kelle can be sent away soon given his contract details.

One thing is for sure...Magic will be even more fun to watch from now on, future is bright and we will be a dynamic fast-paced team with extremely exciting and versatile guards that are lockdown beasts on defense (Suggs & AB).

he plays winning ball....locks in on defense....wants to get others involved.....attacks the rim hard, free throw rate is kinda crazy....processes the game at a high level, thinks the game....this is the kind of guys you want on your team.......but yeah....we do need shooting but this isn't the only place we can address that problem.....come on guys don't be man fans.....be fans of the team

Dick or Whitmore would please me here. Bufkin, Keyonte or Hawkins would also be all right.
