Didn’t realize that Howard shot threes at such a high volume.

Nothing is more entertaining than watching the magic forum implode on NBA draft night. Everyone needs to chill and just see how everything plays out. There’s always a player or two who get picked out of position and end up being a great player. Might be the year it’s us! Just enjoy the moment guys for better or worse.

Franz wasnt a reach though, he went right near where he was projected

Current Depth Chart (IMO)

G: Fultz, Anthony, Black
G: Harris, Suggs, Houstan
F: Wagner, Howard, Okeke
F: Banchero, Bol, Isaac
C: Carter

Free Agents: Bitadze, M. Wagner, Carter-Williams, Schofield

I feel like a trade almost has to be is in the works, especially if they see Howard as more of a 2 than a 3.

I could also see the Magic playing in free agency this year now too...

So we drafted 2 guards
With Cole fultz suggs, Harris and houstan already on the team....wonder if that's why we haven't traded 36, maybe weham are gauging a 36+Cole or suggs trade?

Just said the pelicans where teying to move up. Could have traded with them take Howard at 14 and get assets. Jhst doesn't make sense to reach like that. Let a team draft and call them and ask what u need to do to trade for him.

He can definitely shoot. IMO he needs to drop some weight.

So the reason for most of the outrage is that Jett Howard was much lower than 11 in most mock drafts? Seriously? If you think he's not good enough to be drafted this high, that's one thing, but mock drafts are a joke.

A lot of you might not be happy with Anthony Black and Jett Howard (Both on my Big Board at 7 and 15) . A lot of us were not happy at first in previous years with Weltham picks.

I think people are more pissed that Cam Whitmore Gradey Dick Kobe Bufkin and maybe Kevonte George and Jordan Hawkins were passed on for Jett Howard. I had them higher too but let's see what happens.

Calling it a night. Super disappointed we didn’t end up with Walker/Hendricks/Dick but oh well. Hopefully FA is fruitful for us.

Secretly love the Black because I hate Suggs but I'll admit I am a bit surprised by with Howard.

Howard is a better defender than Dick, same size and still brings the shooting, what's not to like?

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

He has one marketable skill (shooting) and he a disaster on the defensive side of the ball. Obviously, maybe he just didn't like defense and can turn it around. He is also a horrible rebounder for his position and size, which leads me to believe he has a bad motor.

He played almost every game?

I think Weltman was insinuating he's more athletic than he was able to show because he was playing through some nagging injuries.
