It's the knees and I'm sure the workouts didn't help. But they said something similar with Miller. He did ok.

The ESPN coverage is better.
Also NOT a fan of Stephan A or Wilbon. Finals would have been much better with the TNT guys

I love the pick and that he already used one of the 2nd rounders to insure he got his very young man.
Nat will hate this but I'd look long and hard at Trayce J-D with the 35th pick.
He might just be NBA ready now. He's old enough, the opposite of Bilal.
Earlier today GM Dawkins said he liked players that were 3-4 year college players because they were often ready to contribute immediately.
Trayce J-D fits that. I’d take him at 35.

Jacquez's mom is a smoke show. I know I'm getting older when moms are looking so young.

I feel terrible for Cam at this point. Being mocked in the top 8 everywhere and then falling this far must be a nightmare.

I think he would be a great pick, even if he doesn’t fit our timeline. I watched a lot of IU the last 4 years, and he is a player. He won’t be a star by any stretch, but a solid contributor. Smart, agile, great shot blocker. Mature. And handles better than you think.

Re: The Official 2023 Draft Thread
Good. Glad the Rox took Cam. Local kid. Good fit, they are collecting elite athletes. He will have something to prove. SPeculation is that his stock was cratered by the hype video that pointed out his two broken fibias:
And his mom talking about him having tunnel vision. That's fine at pick number 20, he's a steal at that late. And as much as I knocked him for it, picked that late he can have tunnel vision so long as the basket is at the end of that tunnel. And interviewed badly? He's a kid. One of the youngest players in the draft. When the Rockets get it all together they are going to be unstoppable.

If Leonard Miller is available at 35 I’d pull the trigger.
Huge potential.
