What did he say?

His own college coach didn’t like him, which is telling. Also, mentioned again that he was a ball hog. So if he has a bad motor, medical issues, and is a bad teammate? No bueno. Andy Larsen also alluded to the bad teammate part.

I like George and Hendricks, no thoughts on Sensebaugh. Overall I like that Danny let the draft come to him. I would give these three picks a solid A-. Hendricks will be a player for us this coming year.

The Ringer minuses on Sensabaugh

Suffered two meniscus injuries in high school, and he’s not a great athlete. He doesn’t have much burst off the dribble and he’s not an above-the-rim finisher.

Tough shot-makers in college don’t always translate to the NBA. He moves slowly with the ball and doesn’t create much separation on his shots. At the next level, he might not be able to create any room at all.

Ohio State had him start the season off the bench because of his defensive shortcomings. He lacks quickness on the ball and a degree of toughness you’d hope for from a player with his size. He finds himself in foul trouble far too often. Getting leaner would help, but effort is an issue too.

Inconsistent off-ball defender who loses track of his man and doesn’t show much agility helping inside or recovering to his man.

When he’s looking to pass, he telegraphs the ball to teammates especially on entry passes from the perimeter.

Amazing draft, but no surprise from the organization that drafted Kessler.

I guess we’ll see what information will come out. But I think Houston is a bad spot for him.

I’m sure there is a Minnesota joke here somewhere but it’s too late and my brain is working even less than usual.

My initial thoughts are it's a B+ draft for the Jazz. (Still a chance they make a trade, but I'm calling it over for them at this point.)

Thrilled with Hendricks, which was the most important pick. He will likely be a starter on day 1. Good value at 28 with Sensabaugh, even though I would have liked to see them gamble on Jackson in that spot. Not my favorite pick at 16, but still ok. Would have preferred Hood-Schifino or Whitmore, but assuming JC leaves, George has an immediate role as a bench scorer. They didn't get a PG, which is a glaring hole, but they did add shooting, which I think was their #2 need.

Watching Whitmore and Smith drop was surprising. Wonder if the Jazz would have taken Smith if he dropped 1 more spot.

Still questions out there, like will they actually carry 3 first round rookies on the roster, or will someone get moved? Do they address their PG issues or run with Dunn, Sexton, THT?

At least post the meme.

Also, thanks for the compliment. I think we had a decent draft but it could have been amazing. I also like your pick of JHS.

It won’t matter because next summer Keyonte and Sensabaugh will be in Dallas 8-)

Random thought: Azabuke gets drafted 40th in this draft ... maybe.
