I agree we made stupid signings and had to do a ton of cap gymnastics to afford Brunson, but in the end with where we were at it was the right move. Same with the Hart trade this year, he was a huge catalyst for our “run” and i highly doubt we thought we wouldn’t get the Mavs pick, we woulda had pick 11 or 12 and everyone would have been bitching about who we picked. def high reward low risk in the second round. his lack of wing span along with not being all world athletic and questionable shot selection with little desire to defend is what has him where he is now compared to what he was projected to be in high school
