Re: 2023 NBA Draft (tonight's discussion on pg 58)
Coming out of this night without a single trade, it really to me signals a youth rebuild coming soon. It’s pretty hard to see it any other way.
They didn’t even bother it seems to even do something small like unlock future picks. So the Blazers are still hamstrung by Chicago. Wtf are we even doing here.

Going bit at 23 would be reaching for need when there were tons of good players still on the board.
Kris can play from day 1. He has 4th starter potential IMO.

You guys are right about Kris. It's a good pick. And I laugh about the Keegan highlights, but he really did step nicely into that role last year. Only reservation I have is about his ability to get shots up in the NBA.

I hate this pick, and I really like Kegan… so that says something

When dame said he wanted a veteran I don’t think he meant a 24 year old rookie

If you commit to a youth movement, the pick owed to Chicago is irrelevant

I'm not trying to actively disagree with you across threads here, but I really don't think there's more to read into tonight than:
1. Nobody worth trading for was on the table.
2. An elite prospect fell to the Blazers' draft slot and they pounced.
I don't think this reflects any long-term commitments, moving on from Dame, or anything besides the opportunity of this particular moment.

If we don't find a way to move up to pick Nnaji or Miller I'll be pretty upset. Size right there for the taking.

These vultures have zero respect for the fans. 10 years of Olshey for this clown to come in and actually be worse. He was ASSistant GM the whole time, this isn’t surprising at all.

There seems to be a lot of picks being moved in the second round. One would think Portland
if they wanted to, could package two of the SRP's from the GP2 trade, to get a high SRP in
this draft

Yeah, exactly my thought as well, unless we hear something soon this is a "Western Union"

Agitating to see the Pistons get Nnaji.
Edit: Forgot this is going to Celtics. Even more infuriating.

Minnesota trading two futures for this pick is also upsetting.

We should just erase the board then. I'll write in to sports forums across the world, no discussion and desires at all.
