You keep wanting to ignore the fact that we could've had both a pick last year and Brunson because it exposes the flaw in your argument that Leon and co. are playing 4d chess

Throwing away 1st round picks to dump contracts you just signed the year before when everybody knew they were bad is not praise worthy.

Stay miserable, we got a top 30 player for a lottery pick… and walked away with a couple more firsts. Not sure how that’s a bad move. Oh don’t forget the 2nd we got taken away for tampering, that probably makes the whole deal a bad deal…

And those picks are heavily protected, and will turn into 2nd rounders

There's legitimately no reason for us to not buy a 2nd round pick every year

It's honestly malpractice. Yeah, we're not getting a franchise guy in the 2nd, but if you could find one solid depth piece every 2 or 3 years, it's well worth it.

At least respect the fans and send that out early during the first round. However, the signs were there they didn’t work out anyone who is likely to go in either round. Obi tried to pressure them into a trade and they have no idea who would be worth trading him for. It sounds like they were lazy this draft.
