Yah, I guess I don’t have much hope for MCW or Admiral Scholfield helping us win playoff games three years from now

Completely insane.

I’ve watched Jett Howard tape and suddenly think he could be a very solid pick. Never saw him as a possibility at 11 so was surprised how good he looked.

I rewatched Anthony Black tape and…still think it’s going to be a long road for him…but so many scouts love him it has me second guessing myself. I mean everyone in the national media including Hollinger and other respected people LOVE the pick.

So yeah, like Anchorman I’m in a glass case of emotion.

Good. Love Black. Loved Jett during the college season but did not like how he was moving... Weltman just said he played through injuries though. Some I'm all in on Jett too.

Fairly happy with the draft.

FO has work to do though. Not enough minutes for these guys.

Good. I like both picks.

I just don't trust this front office to maximize their development by balancing the roster appropriately.

Going through some Jett Howard highlights and actually really liking what I’m seeing offensively. He’s nowhere near as stiff as I had previously thought.

Going to try to watch some full games tomorrow to get a better idea of what we are working with but I’m nowhere near as angry as I was two hours ago.

Cash and a future second round pick. We have like 15 second round picks in the next 6 years

We won’t make a single one of them but we can turn 4 of them into James Ennis
When we max out Paolo and Franz, the second round pick will come in handy.

I’m not a fan of what we did tonight tbh. Nothing I can do but see how it all plays out, but I’m not all too thrilled.

If we trade Markelle and he blossoms and Black doesn’t do much I will never ever forgive this front office.

That's how I feel as well. I always liked Black as a prospect. I think the Magic went best player available at #6. And I think they just went with who they thought was the best shooter at #11, and I can buy that with Howard.

The roster construction makes me nervous. I'm not sure how they'll choose to play it from here. But it does feel like something has to give with the guard rotation.

This is kinda what I beg people to do. Everyone saying Howard was a reach I think just hasn’t watched him play. Guy can be a great shooter and scorer. We all have jobs and lives part of reason we rely on **** mocks to narrow down our watching of players. Mocks are flawed.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Fultz isn't getting traded... yet. Those flashes (normal 3's) at the end of the season has me intrigued but I'd be willing to cut bait fairly quickly if it was a mirage. Cole is also a FA but I bet the FO is happy with him in the backup PG role.
