You know they love their shooters clearly he killed it in the shooting department at the workout

I trust a 4 year college sample more then 1 workout, but we'll see.

If he somehow magically became a good shooter in the last month - he'll be less horrible of a pick.

Like he said different roles on the team

Shifting from a role where hitting 3s isn’t valuable to one where it is?

This is a great point lol. It's almost like the guys that get paid a ton of money to do this for a living know better than we do

I know people wanted Cam Whitmore, but when is the last time some guy took this big of a freefall in the draft and then turned out to be good?

Jaime may not be the sexy pick (hair and mom aside), but he could probably get on the court for us tomorrow.

6 players the Heat worked out haven't been selected yet.

His off-ball D and ability to play passing lanes is good but I’m a little worried about his ability to defend in space. We’ll likely play him a position up so that’s less of a concern but on the other hand…have we seen him guard bigger guys before? Can he do it consistently?

Genuinely asking as I’m not a huge CBB/scouting guy.

You can tell your pick sucks when the draft commutators whos only job is to hype the players can only think of one line of compliments - "toughness and plays hard."

Really hoping Isiah Wong goes undrafted wow that would be so dope if we signed him to an immediate 2 way.

Sounds like your rooting for the kid to fail at this point, you’ve been at it for hours; if he plays well he’s gonna shut you up.

Jaime and Jet put in the work together preparing for the draft. Jaime had a big frame. Image
