I was hoping Fred would be the next Isiah Thomas 3 for us but that never happened. Maybe this dude is it
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Need this to help 905

Why try and keep M Flynn, D Banton, and J Dowtin
More than 10 seconds were trades we could not move Flynn who I think needs a new environment to try.

Don’t think of him as a smaller Fred. He’s more like a bigger Muggsy Bogues.

Masai infatuation with little point guards is just bizarre at this point

It makes for a nice story but the odds are really stacked against him.

The Raptors seem like they’re changing their whole philosophy this year with getting 2 guys already who are highly likeable, enthusiastic, confident, joyful, team oriented, savvy and just knows how to play the game of basketball.

Wait a minute...................

This Nowell guy we signed to a 2-way. How exactly does a 5'8 PG go about registering 2.6 blocks per game? Do the laws of physics mean nothing to him?

raptor jesus wrote:It's pretty rare to see a guy break down college defenses the way he did. There's a lot less space in the college game, and the game is officiated in a way that usually allows for more contact on the perimeter. Cason Wallace was my top choice at 13, largely because of his defence, and he couldn't stay in front of Nowell. With more space to operate in the NBA, he'll definitely be able to get to the paint; his floater/finishing game will dictate how long he sticks in the league imo.

I agree. He has that pass-first mentality you want in a true PG but he’s going to need the ability to finish when the pass isn’t there. Or take a page from Steve Nash and just dribble back out of the paint if there’s nothing.

Seems like he takes pride in setting up his teammates more than scoring.

There have been a grand total of 2.

You guys just complain for the sake of complaining. Just watch summer league and hope for the best.

Here he is taking on Cam Reddish

It’s a 2 way contract. Not just summer league

He’s gonna play with the big club

Kudos to Charlotte signing Mouhamed Gueye at 39. Kid has 3+ years of organized basketball under his belt and check out his skills.

To me he looks like a FVV clone but maybe has better passing skills....I don't mind this pick up considering it doesn't hurt us to give guys looks on 2 ways....I actually like his game and don't really care if hes shorter....He has skills...

Complaining? Where was the complaint? I said it's bizarre he has a thing for little PG's -- which he does

Spoiler:
Lowry was small too -- That's where his fetish started
