Then you better keep Lopez, because if you have a center who clogs the lane and can't shoot those three won't look great on offense.

I want to love it. I like the outside the box thinking and it looks like there's a lot of fun stuff to work with but it's so hard to make it in the modern NBA if you just can't shoot at all and it gets extra rough when you're putting him on a Giannis led team. Hopefully he can make enough improvement in the shooting to at least be respectable.

He’s the Matrix Reloaded, I see Shawn Marion with the ugly shot, supreme athleticism and defensive prowess. Marion was obviously a much better scorer in general than AJJr will likely ever be but maybe Jackson makes up for that in his own right being a facilitator and developing a lethal corner 3..

With more athleticism and a matching Hall of Fame career. Decent little pick at #36. :D

Really terrible pick ... I am scouting from 36-58 to find who the best players were and who would be my pick.
As of Now ... there were at least 4 better options than Jackson Jr...

1. #40 Maxwell Lewis
2. #42 Tristan Vukcevic
3. #44 Sidy Cissoko
4. #48 Jordan Miller
5. #50 Keyontae Johnson
6. #54 Jalen Slawson
7. #55 Isaiah Wong
8. #57 Trayce Jackson-Davis

If TJ McConnell had prime Kobe's vertical athleticism, sure.

When I heard we traded into the top of the second round I was hoping we would draft Vukcevic or Bates but I can appreciate the opportunity at a guy who hustles, plays defense, and has good court vision.

Tough to get too worked up over 2nd round pick flyers and I see what they're doing for and seemingly thinking a high floor guy. And in general getting some wing athleticism (what we said all year they needed to get at deadline). I didn't do any draft digging but just reading through profiles of guys available around their pick I think I would've took the UCLA PG. Which also would've addressed a Bucks weakness, if you have some luck and he becomes a contributor.

I think a good comparison is Earvin "Magic" Johnson.

You guys are having the wrong attitude about early 2nd rounders. With the new CBA these picks will legit matter. The Bucks will need this guy to play 15-20 minutes

I'm not sure I agree with him being a high floor guy. It's entirely possible (even probable) that he's a worse offensive player than Draymond Green (and obviously worse defensively too). If he doesn't improve a lot offensively, it's really going to test the new coaching staff in how to make him a playable player.

A taller Lonzo Ball on steroids. Lonzo also couldn't shoot at first. Then he became a good shooter. The vast majority of young players nowadays can't shoot, so i am ok with this, he can get better. But his other abilities are priceless. He is a dawg and seems like a high bbiq guy. He pass the ball, he defends, he facilitates. Nothing more i could ask from a young player.

Fair that yea the offense could completely hold him back. I mean from the IQ and that you know can hold his own at everything else. Everyone should know I'm more about shooting/O than most here so to me that would've been the deal breaker. But I get from them of hey its a 2nd pick, has athleticism and knows how to do all the little stuff to possibly be a glue guy doing the little stuff, I guess kinda like how DDV did

Andre Jackson is an explosive athlete who can get off the floor with the best of them. He’s a powerful athlete with a strong build, blazing speed and insane leaping ability.

Jackson is far from a polished and complete player but he has an emerging offensive game and all the tools to excel at the next level.

He’s a very skilled passer who seems to always know where his teammates are and does a great job of timing his passes.

He’s not much of a shooter at this point and has sort of a funky release. Being able to hit the open 3 will go a long ways towards him having a successful NBA career.

He does bring a lot to the table, even if he’s not scoring the ball, and can impact the game with his energy, athleticism and play-making.
