We've signed Grant Sherfield to our summer league squad. 6'2 PG out of Oklahoma.

Sounds like we are not going to be signing anyone to the 2nd 2 way spot until the summer league is over, assuming our 52nd pick is getting one of the spots.

Teams have 3 two-way spots they can use next season.

Re: 2023 Undrafted Free Agents
I'd like to see the full undrafted list honestly to do a comparison, But just off the top of my head considering we missed on both elite defenders and jumbo floor spacing wings, I'd say (for now) my temporal list might be:
1- Leaky Black

3- Drew Peterson.

5- Jake Stephens

3- Jalen Graham (Arkansas).
4- Johnni Broome (Auburn).
5- Jamarion Sharpe (Western Kentucky).
**7'5 with a 7'7 wingspan and the fluidity of a wing!!

Really? Thats disappointing that we didn't at least sign one of the top UFA's. It seems all the good one have already agreed to 2 way contracts with other teams.

Hunter Hale has committed to play for Suns in #NBA Summer League, league sources tell @azcentral.
From Kalamazoo, Mich., the 6-4 guard played college ball at Central Michigan, Grand Valley State and Winthrop.
Averaged 22.2 points in Adriatic (ABA) League Liga overseas. #Suns

Re: 2023 Undrafted Free Agents
How about Castleton?
I only know about him b/c he was projected in our range and fit a profile of need (when we trade DA). A senior C, who has good block, steal, assist numbers, and ok FT shooter (while not a good rebounder, shooter). Not sure he would be all that worse than Jock by the end of the yr...

Re: 2023 Undrafted Free Agents
I'm shocked Leaky Black wasn't picked. He's an NBA player. We should get him, though I'm not sure how much room we really have on the wings if we are bringing back Okogie and Craig with 2 of KD/Book/Beal already occupying wing spots.
I think Drew Peterson will make it due to decisionmaking / passing with size.

I saw that 76ers got the top 3 undrafted. Weird for the UFA. If i was a free agent I would find the best fit with need. Suns need depth.

Castleton is great and would've been a very serviceable big for us off the bench. But he's already been signed to a two-way deal by the Flakers. Trey Jemison (IF we sign him) would be a solid basic backup big that's the opposite of Ayton in his physical play, He's just a beast down low playing physically, dunking and blocking shots and rebounding.

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Efe Abogidi, Manny Bates, Jake Stephens (Great Landale replacement option), Moussa Cisse, Johnni Broome,
Kao Akobundu-Ehiogu (4/5 - 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan and 47 inch vertical).
