Watched some workout videos and it's a little weird to me that he isn't even attempting to fix his jacked shot.

The team needs BBIQ and creation. I'm glad they targeted someone with those skills. Hopefully he can learn to catch & shoot and use that athleticism to become a good finisher.

Still Editing ... I will fill this and make up my mind later

Horst's (Griffin?) pick #36
Andre Jackson Jr G/F (21) 6'5.5. w/o shoes, wingspan 6'9.75 , 198.4 lbs
G=36, MP=29.1, Points=6.7 , RB=6.2 , AS=4.7 , FG% 43.2 , 3P% 28.1 (0.7/2.5) , FT% 64.6 , PER=15.0 , WS=4.0

And for the #36 Fotis St's pick for the Milwaukee Bucks is .... Tristan Vukcevic

My evaluation is that Maxwell Lewis and Tristan Vuk are the most intriguing prospects, due to being younger so therefore having time to improve their game and work on their flaws. We lack so much on 3p shooting so though I was torn, I would have picked Tristan cause a 7 FTer with 81.1FT% and 40+ 3p% is a rare breed. I know his father, he played professional in Greece and he is currently an assistant coach. So he comes from a really good basketball family and background. His potential is really big, we have Suki and all the help and mentors to work hard and improve.

2nd really close and a really good pick is Maxwell Lewis. He catch&shoot the 3s at 40+% and his huge wingspan helps him finish at the rim and play D. He needs to improve his handles and cut some turnovers , but as a Buck with limited playmaking responsibilities I believe he would help and show us his talent and be more effective than expected.

That's it. Be well, Horst still sucks at Draft night, sorry.

so i think were going to keep our core intact....and go with the secondary team building philosophy of...

1. finding old vets who can shoot and very little else
2. drafting young guys who do everything else but cant shoot for ****

i think this will work out just fine if we can find a way to play 7 on 5

No offense but your draft record isn’t great either

I believe it's just more going for ceiling players where we can because our opportunities to land them are few and far between. We probably could have taken a shooter with this pick that is completely limited in other areas, instead we took a freak athlete who needs to develop the shot. Theoretically, Jackson's ceiling is higher because you can develop a shot, but you really can't dramatically change your athletic profile.

Not offended buddy  . You can have your opinion and I can have mine.
In my opinion I am at least triple better than Jon Horst.
He must be a really nice guy, it is not him being stupid, it just happens that I have played and watched thousands more hours this beautiful game. Playing at point guard has helped me paying attention to details normal people don't pick up.
I have more makes then misses, I can't be perfect , but if this was my job, adding more data watching even more I would have been even better. I indeed improved from reading this forum, there are at least 10-15 posters here that have a different basketball taste. Reading them and scouting their taste of players made me more wiser.
So I am what I am and you are a part of me 8-)

Hobson was a pedestrian athlete by NBA standards, so I'll say Jackson has a better career.

The athleticism is obviously a big deal, but what I've seen from him is some high level court vision and decision making. That to me is where he helps the Bucks.

Some will love him, while others still point at box scores and claim PJ isn’t a great defender.

I am confident he is now the team's best passer/bbiq. He can throw an accurate lob (no more lobs off the shot clock), you can run pick n roll where he can actually thread the needle, and he can get out an run with Giannis. these are 3 boxes easily checked that the bucks lack. if he can throw an entry pass and develop a jumper, this is a great pick up.

Absolutely. He may not be playable while Giannis is in until he has a respectable jumper, but he can certainly run with the second team.

There are too many similarities, but I think Cissoko is more NBA READY 25lbs more muscle and I think the Raptors once more got a better player with a worse pick.

Cissoko put up similar numbers on G-LEAGUE , he is 2 years younger with more muscle mass. I don't get it... need help

He seems to have everything except for the shooting. I honestly dont care. We are so starved for guys with his skill set that im over the moon. Joe Ingles was fun. This is going to be way better.

3. #44 Sidy Cissoko or #36 Andre Jackson ...
There are too many similarities, but I think Cissoko is more NBA READY 25lbs more muscle and I think the Raptors once more got a better player with a worse pick.

Cissoko put up similar numbers on G-LEAGUE , he is a year younger with more muscle mass. I don't get it... need help

I only watched the highlights but they seem like very different players. I liked Cissoko, even compared his movement to how Zion moves. His power and quick twitch combo is nuts. But i think the ceiling for Jackson is just way higher. If he stays healthy and develops a shot, hes an all star level player. He would lack nothing. Cissoko seems to have fewer dimensions. Higher floor but lower ceiling. Plus, if he cant shoot or distribute, he doesn't really have a place on the team with Giannis here.
