To some extent, yes.

But Gradey was better coming out of HS, he was better as a freshman. Better athleticism (was throwing down lob dunks this season) and a better passer, really quick ball mover/processor. Also shows more flashes of defense than Hauser did in college.

How high do you take him is the question. I see some putting him in the 9-12 range, which I think is a little too high. I would rank him in the 14-18 range.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I think he's quicker and more athletic and better with the ball than Hauser like you said. Not sure if he is better defensively, that's the question there imo.

I watched Ross for many years. Dick shot is more consistant. Ross is more like release and pray. Ross rarely shoots over defenders and streaky.

Yeah that’s a bizarre comp.

Reminds me a lot of Reggie Miller. Not sure he gets quite there but I get strong Reggie vibes.

lol. says a fan of the team that just drafted him. of course he reminds you of reggie miller. i imagine we'd struggle to find you saying anything remotely this optimistic about him before june 22nd.

keyonte george reminds me of a combination of kyrie and jamal murray - if he doesn't reach his potential.

Its just his play style. He isn't as athletic as Reggie was. I doubt he is as cold blooded either.

Almost all of Ross' shots are over defenders. He uses his leaping ability to get shots off.

People make comparisons for players on or off of their team all the time. Some are realistic, others aren't as realistic. Shooting wise, I can see Gradey putting up Reggie-esque career 3 point numbers because of the way the league is now. No need to be rude about it. Personally, I'd lean more towards a Bojan Bogdanović style career, but would I be surprised if Gradey put up 18/3/3 on good percentages over his career? Absolutely not.

i didn't mean to be rude, but reading it again, i can see how it came across that way. i'm glad yellowknifer ignored my dickishness (pun sort of intended).

It's all good. Bojan is a decent comparison too but I think Dick has a better handle and finishing around the rim.

Seems like Dick is really starting to show growth.
