OFFICIAL: Bulls Sign Onuralp Bitim To 2-Way Deal

Post#1 » by Chi » Sat Jun 24, 2023 5:19 am

Surprised you all haven’t heard yet. But I’ve been doing my research and scouting.

Kinda Excited about This guy.

It’s not on mainstream media yet. But yea, we got a shooter. More than that.

But he can shoot 8-)

I thought the Bulls were interested in signing him and that's that...

I don't think he's been signed yet (free agency hasn't started). Unless it's a camp invite or summer league deal.

Plus it was mentioned in another thread earlier.

Whoa. A guy I watch highlights of, and walk away cautiously optimistic?!!?!!

Has size, and an actual confident looking shot. Has that Strus kinda guy look. Can’t be a Bulls developmental player…can he??

He may not translate, and he may suck on D, and he may end up sucking overall, but this is the type of dude we should have been trying to develop for a long time now.

Just did a quick Google (which I should have done before my initial reply).

The Bulls have signed him to a 2way contract.

Seems fairly quick and athletic in his highlights too.

Could be a sneaky good pick up.

I was just wondering why AK hasn't tried seeking any European or international players yet. This Onuralp guy seems to fit a need.

To me he looks like an NBA player. Not a G League

Regular NBA Rotation player. He looks better than the other Rooks imo

Everyone looks good in highlights, but these are some of the most compelling highlights I’ve ever seen from an undrafted player. He looks like lottery material here, not G-League. James Harden-esque.

I’m psyched.

Impressive highlights! But I'm amazed by that name. I love etymology and name origins, and Turkish names are unlike any. I'm also biased as my favorite ever Bulls reserve player was the Turkish Hammer himself Ömer Aşık (Google paste for the win)

Rad. At first, looking at his picture I got the vibe of some guy who would be mixing me a $20 cocktail in a mason jar but his highlight mix is anything but.

Hope he proves useful! Kind of redundant with Coby though, no?

I’m waiting for the catch.

Based on eye test and skillset, this guy being available on a two-way doesn’t compute.

If he was in 2K, he would definitely have the HOF Bully badge. Nice strong drives in those highlights

Here in LA, those guys show up at public courts in Bonobos tank tops and can hoop a little bit.

No idea who this guy is, but the couple highlights I just watched kind of reminded me of Belinelli with less 3s.

Yeah, there's no offcial confirmation or anything close to that out there yet.

He sure looks kinda interesting for a guy you might get on a two-way, though. That's the kind of move we need to see more. Just try someone out and see if he's any good. No more hanging onto non-NBA players for years.

Return to Chicago Bulls
