This was the best possible outcome in my opinion for the #58 overall selection. Coming out of high school he had a 5 star ranking, and was ranked 12th in the ESPN 100 rankings, with his 92 overall ranking the same as Brandon Miller. He has good athleticism and size and perhaps is someone who can grow into a NBA basketball player if patient.

With respect to the agent holding him until the Bucks pick, it looks to me like he will get a partial guranteed minimum deal and will take a roster spot, for cost/tax savings.

 2nd rounder hardly do especially players drafted by the Bucks.

Redd and Moute stuck.

Yeah and Brogdon never won rookie of the year or was any good either!

Outside of Giannis we’ve probably had more luck in the second round than the first tbh. Nwora, Brogdon, Meeks, Leuer, Ilyasova, Sessions, Mbah a Moute, Redd… all at least playable guys. I hate to admit it but we’re brobably batting a better average in the second round. Wilson, Haislip, Alexander, Yi, Thon, Vaughn and the list goes on with first round bums.

Not that we drafted them, but Khash and Mo Williams made all star teams as well.

Second round guys on the team last year:
Khash
Crowder
Dragic
Pat
Carter
Wes ( undrafted)

Obviously, some of these guys are at the end of their careers and weren’t great last year, but it seems like they’ll all play a decade+ in the nba with several being top 3-5 rotation pieces in their primes.

Acting like the 2nd round doesn’t matter is always shocking to me.

Jokic just won a ring and has multiple MVPs…

Just trade all of our firsts for multiple seconds going forward.

I think Maggette was a level above him athletically and certainly more aggressive on the court, but if you squint, you can see this as max upside.

Bad Porn got to the free throw line like crazy. Austin Reaves is the only non star player I’ve seen be able to pull that off recently.

Yeah, Maggette was crafty, at least in his ability to get to the line.

Let us never speak of him again.

Ironically the older guy (Moore) is the one with more obvious starter upside. I think Livingston is the classic early bloomer, but I'm heartened that the Bucks seem to have targeted a teenager, that the interest was mutual, and that at 19 he's physically ready for the league. Touch seems ok, good activity level. If you squint, you could see some OG. Easy to understand why he'd want to start his pro career with Griffin.

Seems like straight line drives versus out of position/mismatched defenders and drawing contact are his thing.

Probably smoked a lot of high school kids with his overwhelming size/athleticism. Only gets tougher from there.

Maybe Corey Maggette is best upside

Apparently he had a rep as a knockdown shooter coming out of HS. Would be cool if that came back.

He shot 29% from 3 his senior season (and 70% from the FT line)

Well that seems like almost exactly what he did at Kentucky.

Just watched some videos on Chris. I don't see an NBA future there. Especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Prove me wrong, kid. Prove me wrong.

Of the videos I’ve seen, he looks pretty stiff for supposedly being an athlete.

Maybe the Bucks can get him some training to unlock that some.

Thought he looked pretty athletic on the putbacks/offensive rebounds, but not with the ball. Also here's a video the Bucks put up yesterday:

Once again, seeing some similarities here. Living stone just doesn’t look quite as fluid with the ball, nor aggressive.

Chris's D reminds me of Wes which I'm pretty pumped for, he also brings toughness with rebounds.

His shot mechanics actually look good, he just needs the refinement.

Although he can drive through traffic to the rim his handles are pretty bad.

Main 2 things he needs to work on is Handles and Shooting.
