John Collins is finally on the move after 3 straight years of trade rumors, in what appears to be basically a salary dump.

On the flip side, while Collins is certainly overpaid, he’s still a formidable player who has an opportunity here to build a nice front-court rotation in Utah playing alongside All-Star Lauri Markennan and All-Rookie Walker Kessler. And Utah is basically getting him “for free.”

Salary dump as it should but there's a puncher chance he'll be an All-Star next season with Lauri playing at 3 alongside with him and Ainge will trade him again next season for multiple first round picks after he pump his value like Markannen.

Well after years of trying Atlanta finally dumps Collins for a first round pick and a guy I legit thought was no longer in the NBA.

Utah’s front-court will be serviceable now with Collins, Markennan, and Kessler.

Now if they would just get rid of those awful wannabe Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys that they randomly decided to rock last year..

Good thing Atlanta held onto that Asset by giving him that big contract. They'd never have managed to get Rudy Gay and 2nd round pick years later without it!
