It was a big disappointment.

The cut scene look great but the gameplay not so much.

I’m having fun trying different builds and just decompressing after work by killing monsters/grinding for items.

It's fine once through right now, which is obviously not what you want out of an ARPG long term. I think the bones are there, though, and with some tweaks it'll get there. I think the biggest issues for me are enemy scaling and end game repetition. But, fun game. It was better than I expected it to be.

Did pretty much just make me want to play a new POE league, though. I expect it to be pretty hype considering timing of the D4 launch and its first season coming out. And given they had a 4 month cycle for the next league, it feels primed to be a big one.

I played a few levels on the D4 beta. My impression was that I will probably buy it, play through the story once at a casual pace and never touch it again.

The original Diablo was my first internet game. It will never be the same because it can't be new again. I don't see it being a groundbreaking franchise again until it goes full VR.

I’m patiently grinding World Tour in SF6 to unlock all the second outfits (only have four left) while watching the first SF6 major at CEO 2023. Lots of Juri players out there it seems.

The arena had some good moments. I don't enjoy watching Blanka so was a bit bummed he was relatively unstoppable, but respect.

I spent three hours this morning going spelunking in TOTK

It all came from giving an apple to a cherry tree

I’m currently angry with TotK. I used one of the Amiibo cards and got a super dope horse…but, I was on a random stone island I couldn’t get off with it and now it’s gone lol

Had a Belkin surge protector make a popping sound and burst into flames, there wasn’t even any real load, maybe an Echo Dot and DirecTV box and some other components that were turned off(Xboxes, tv stereo, etc). Crazy if someone wasn’t home and in the room, scary to think house could have burned down. Was a 20a circuit was even on a GFI and passed the Klein plug in test for correct config with ground. Anyone else have experience with Surge Protectors failing like this? Think I need to call an electrician or just right it off as a faulty surge protector that needed replacement?

Yeah that’s scary. I’ve had belkins for like 4-5 years and never had an issue (handles all my pc stuff and another one handles my consoles). Might be worth reaching out to Belkin and see if they can give you any insight. Electric is one of the few things I refuse to do lol

Picked up Stardew Valley cuz I was looking for some portable games on the Switch. I never really got into any of the farming sim or slice of life games like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, etc., but I think I'm gonna enjoy this. Anybody have any advice on what to invest in or craft right off the bat? How's the early-mid game?

IIRC, there's nothing you can't get in time/you can't lock yourself out from anything. So one thing to consider is how much you care about min/maxing vs. exploring on your own pace and doing what you like.

Generally speaking, investing in sprinkler tech is always a good bet because you'll save yourself time (and energy) on watering manually. Getting some fruit trees planted is a good bet. If you do want to min-max, I'd suggest looking up the highest return plants; even if you don't totally min/max, that can be a good halfway kinda thing.

Wonderful game. There isn't much of anything to screw up, so enjoy. Just don't side with Joja.

Save your money for strawberry seeds to buy from the vendor on the 13th. I typically do some fishing for easy money making before then. Clear what you can but leave the grass if possible. That can be used for making hay once you have silos. Forage for fruit and other edibles to keep your energy up. There's a nice batch of spring onions at the sourthern most part of the map every few days you can eat.

After the pathway is cleared on the 4th or 5th day go to the mines when it rains.

I see the honeymoon period of Diablo IV has ended. I saw MIG jump on Grim Dawn last night and thought to myself, “D4 must’ve already lost him.”

Based on his tweets maybe I'll check out Octopath II at some point. Don't really want to get a PS5 just for FFXVI. It looks cool but I can probably try to wait until PC. Still finishing TOTK and God of War.

If you wanna buy my PS5 disc edition and 4 games I'm offering a sweet price! I never touch it lol

Yeah, end game is boring for me. I think I put in 40-50 hours in my playthrough, but there was nothing urging me to play again with another character before S1.

Yeah, I think most people are waiting to check out season 1. I just hit 50 the other night. Gonna keep playing but definitely not going to go hard into anything when we're in essentially a pre-season. Just wanted to finish the campaign and kind of check out end game stuff. Gonna have much more time in S1 plus there is some QoL stuff coming already.

It's a disc edition barely used with Madden 22, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Deathloop (unopened), and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Name a price and I'll let you know if I think it's fair lol.

I can’t seem to DM you, but if you enable I’ll send a price I think is fair!

My big problem with FF is I generally have little idea as to what's going on during battle at any particular time. There are times when I'm attacking and I genuinely can't see my character or what I'm hitting, because there are so many particle graphics flying around. Or there's some kind of motion blur going on. I hate it.

Anyone playing Battlebit Remastered? It's the best Battlefield game in a while.
