I'd be hoping for Herro as an upside outcome.

I am yearning for the "Luke Kennard" outcome here.

I mean hes without doubt modelled his game after Booker. He says Book is his favourite player too. Went about the same place in the draft. Never say never.

I am not saying he will become Booker but if he does. No ever says Booker is bad because he isn’t the best defender in the world. If he does hit absolute peak with even just ok team defense no one will care.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

How big do you have to be? The average height of SFs in NBA 6'7". He's listed at 6'8" 215. probably is really 6'7"

It was a toss between Gradey and Jett and i think Jett has more potential as a passer, 1 vs 1 creator and 1 vs 1 defender. We have no idea if Toronto also had Howard before Dick. Cason Wallace is good, but he would create even more logjam, maybe OKC jumped to prevent Dallas from trading him to someone else.

Rumor is we had a trade back deal with Toronto lined up (11 for 13 swap - they wanted Cason Wallace). OKC got word of it and made the deal with Dallas at 10 to block Toronto. Once that happened, our 11 for 13 swap fell through and we just took our guy at 11.

Of course its just a rumor so who knows if true.

My question is... who would have leaked it? You know our reputation about secrecy and if TOR really wanted Wallace, they wouldn't leak it. Is there a RAT in the commish office?

the player's agent? they wouldn't know if a trade was in play but they would know if a team was really interested.

We literally played Fultz-Cole-Suggs lineups.. people on this forum seem to still think in terms of like 90s rigid lineups

He will def be SG/SF depending on the lineups.

Cason said in his interview he told his agent to get him to OKC. So I would suspect the agent. But it did leak out that Orlando and Toronto were talking earlier in the day or the day before. I remember seeing it I think it was a Fisher report

I really want to see a lineup of Cole/Suggs/Black/Wagner/WCJ when Paolo is resting.

Reminds me of the Paolo = Tatum videos from last year. And you know what, they weren't that far off.

Sooooo... Bulls fans probably have to hope this guy busts huh? I mean they are kicking themselves over thier #8 which is Franz...#11 Jett and he becomes anywhere near Franz and they probably have to be on suicide watch.

Jett's game has sneaky potential for being a 20 PPG scorer. I've been thinking it since a few days after the draft and numerous clips. He probably won't have the Booker potential to be a #1 option but you put a player like Jett as a #3 option or so and it's crazy, he'll do it really efficiently for us. Teams are not going to be able to deal with first Paolo, then Franz, and now Jett.

He will def be SG/SF depending on the lineups.

My money on the fact he Will be a SF,After an initial period he Will try to defend guards.

Agree on people obsessed with size, especially with rookies, forgetting in 2-3-4 (off)seasons these guys Will develop a "muscles"armor all around.

Want to see anthony-black-wagner-isaac-wagner,with Houstan (or Howard) used to stagger F.Wagner minutes and playing with starters.

Yes... they will grow 2 inches plus add 20lbs of muscles... he will be a true SF then.

I could definitely see Hawkins and, especially, Dick settling right in as automatic spot up/off the curl snipers...Jett might be a bigger risk to not become that, but, the more I look at his tape, he's capable of much more creative scoring from the 2...more Herro than Korver...intriguing, maybe a little riskier, bigger potential payoff. That's kind of what we really need to take a step forward offensively...and it's certainly no stretch that Howard should be a great kick out finisher from Day 1. His range also might be superior to the other 2. (Don't get me wrong-Gradey will likely be a regular in the 3pt contest, in a JJ-like way).

Howard was definitely more of higher upside swing. I am fully expecting Dick and Hawkins to have “better” rookie seasons and for people to flip out. But I think everyone wanted to take a safe pick and a higher upside swing. Black is pretty bust safe and Howard is the opposite but the upside as a creator is way higher than Dick and Hawkins imo. I think if mocks didn’t exist people would have been very happy we took a swing on a potential SG of the future.
