When is it coming out? Do we have to wait till free agency begins or ends?

*Speculation*My guess is Monte stays flexible by waiting on the extension until after executing his free agency play.

I guess Kuzma does have some underrated rim protection to him. He’s talented. I might have to plug my nose about his dumb tweet if the rumor is true

Nah the real miss was OG

We had half of the forum wanting him at 15 or 20.

I think it was mentioned Sabonis can extend after July 7.

Restarting talks with Barnes at this stage could be for a number of different reasons. Bringing him back isn't the worst path but it certainly is anticlimactic.

Very, and super disappointing if it’s because other free agents have chosen other destinations

You would hope that Monte had a clear plan in place after moving off #24 to clear this cap space. If the plan is just to extend Domas and run it back with HB then we should have just kept the pick and stretched Holmes deal if we really wanted the roster spot.

Say if it was to do those things and bring over Vezenkov AND retain Lyles (I’m no cap expert), would that be worth 24 to you?

I don’t really have a high opinion on what 24 usually turns into

Actually I’ve read they can retain both Sasha and Lyles without using the space.

Don’t know if 24 was worth the cap clearance but I’m not as high on that pick as some. 24 picks mostly scrubs.

I don't think so simply for the fact that those two things could very likely have happened without clearing Holmes money (or stretching him instead). And regardless of what the player taken at 24 turns into, it's still a cost controlled contract for X amount of years where if they turn into a rotation level player has a lot of value.

If Kuzma's hang up with signing in Sacramento is wanting a bigger role then I am 100% okay with it. He would need to be signing here with the intent to buy in to a 3rd/4th option role for it to make any sense.

Minnesota declining to guarantee Taurean Prince's deal. Wouldn't be opposed to offering something like 3/25 for him.

This whole offense is geared to no one being a X option. The only real role is 4th quarter Fox.
The ball finds energy and if Kuzma is going to circuit break that, then no way do you want him.

Some might say the Kings' main problem was not having that guy that can just get you a tough bucket at any time and put the team on his back. Fox was that guy in the POs but it was clear he needs someone else too.

The cap space might be for a trade. It might even be for $10-15m. Teams are going to want to get off money so who knows what's available.
The champs might just be a team that needs to shed one of their guys. It would most likely be MPJ.
NOP does have some flexibility but CJ/BI/Zion is $103m this coming season.
Are the Clippers really willing to be a 2nd apron team? Could Mann be available?

I really hope they do not bring Barnes back unless its for the veteran minimum.

One of the concerns with Kuzma is he willing to pass up non efficient shots for the Kings flowing offense. He hasn't even signed and we already hear Kuz doesn't like that. Yea, pass on Kuzma.

Houston preparing 2 year max for VanVleet. They may price themselves out as they are rumored for other FAs as well

The Rockets may not aggressively pursue him.

After that tweet I didn’t like, could you imagine if he came here anyways because FA money dried up, not out of choice?

That would be a bitter taste for me.
