He would outrebound WCJ by 10 a night.

Our defense would not be great though. I just don't know about the role here.

We were 10th in rebounding last season and bad on perimeter defense.

Would give up 10+ soft layups a game as well.

It’s pick your poison with Vuc and we’ve seen enough of it. Don’t want him back period
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Yeah I don’t think our defense has improved that much with WCJ vs Vuc. With Delle guaranteed to mid 10-15 games Vooch would be an excellent option. For those creating this image of him being selfish, he wouldn’t do that here. The ball would still go through PB/Franz.. calm down.

We’ll have the Vooch conversation in two years. Wish he would’ve picked a contender instead.

yep...but I think some of the comments are untimely given the different team makeup now. Most of all, Vcc-centric offense was Cliff, IMO, doing what he could with what he had to win tonight's game. Vuc's skills and the rest of the team's lack thereof made running things through him the sensible choice if Cliff's marching orders were...get to the playoffs. Fournier, for all of his shortcomings was the best option for Vuc to kick out to...all the talk of "buddy-ball", IMO, wasn't fair to the players - nobody else could shoot or score other than DJ Augustine. Cliff & Vuc carried that mis-matched unit farther than it deserved.

Anyway, that ship has sailed, but Vuc is not bad, or selfish, or unworthy of his All-Star nods at that time. His defense generally sucks but he was a very good player. Earlier in his career with us, he battled Kevin Love for the rebounding title right down to the last week of the season and had absolutely flawless low-post fundamentals - before the NBA shifted and moved him out to the 3pt line. Cheers Vuc, maybe see you in 2 years in a smaller role at a smaller price!

This is really true and I hope that in 2028 we won't be saying "Franz and Paolo" carried that mis-matched unit farther than it deserved because yet again we don't have much talent in rest of the roster.
