So, for big men we have Porzingis (7'3), RW3 (6'9), Horford (6'10) and Kornet (7'2) under contract, Udoka Azubuike (7'0), Aleksander Balcerowski (7'1) and Reggie Kissoonlal (7'0) on summer league team, and still have Kabengele (6'10) on a 2-way /now FA, that we haven't heard anything about. Looks like Brad is finally taking the big man position seriously. I guess he is tired of Embiid wearing our front court out at will.

I wanted Brad to draft Azubuike during the draft, and screamed at my computer when they didn't. Now, Azubuike and Kabengele either make the team or walk. Both have three years in the league and can't be signed to another 2-way contract. Azubuike only played one game in the G-League last season but had 16 points on 7-12 shooting with 1 of 1 free throw, had 17 rebounds and 4 blocks in 30 minutes. This is an old time back to the basket low post player. He has never taken a 3-point shot during a game in college, summer league, G-league or the NBA. Mazzulla would hate him. LOL

I would love to see our front court rotations look like this. It won't happen, but I can dream. lol
RW3 and Porzingis 1st team
Horford and Kornet 2nd team
Kabengele and Azubike 3rd team

Balcerowski 2-way

Chris Fedor, Cavs writer, suggests the Cavs might offer Cedi Osman and 2nd rounders for Grant. Would you guys take that?

In a heartbeat, but I don't think we can afford Cedi's salary numbers.

Could you flip him to WAS for Morris or Wright

Brogdon is the kind of player Ainge would love to get to flip for value at the deadline.. you could trade him for Olynyk, save 10M, lose Grant and get the full MLE to use on a guy like Jevon Carter

I'm hoping Houston missed out on VanVleet because it would be a good place to send Brogdon. Tate, Martin Jr, and Porter Jr are all interesting players.

If Sacramento strikes out on other forward, would they send Davion Mitchell for Pritchard and a Grant S&T?

Read on Twitter

C’s legend and Hall of Famer, talking to NBC Sports Boston, had a few names in mind the C’s could target come free agency: big man Montrezl Harrell and ex-Celtics wing Jeff Green.

“Montrezl Harrell was that dirty player that I’ve seen who’s a free agent that you can probably get for short money,” Maxwell said. You’ve got the nicest bench in the world. What you have is Mr. Clean over there with the Celtics’ bench. I want somebody over there who is a little nasty, a little dirty, a little gritty. He’s one of those few guys that I’ve seen that can come, won’t need the minutes and would be a high value for this team.”

I don’t mind Cornbread on the broadcast but his basketball opinion is usually pretty terrible.

Interesting.. But does Young have much left? What’s his contract?

Trent is expiring so he’d probably be a rental. But if you could unload Young’s money with a second-rounder and unload Pritchard’s, you’ve got breathing room to get a new backup point guard

Young is an 8M expiring.. you’d have to move him to someplace like OKC to get under the apron.. you’d be at around 176 million then..
