Either that, or they’re trying to free up every penny they can to resign Draymond.
The thing I noticed was how PBJ completely lacked any intensity. I never saw him move at faster than a jog, whether it was on offense or defense. He just was incredibly passive, which was stunning to me. While we obviously only saw very little of him overall, to me it was noticeable how casual he was about everything. I don’t know if that’s how he also showed in practice, but if it was, they might have concluded that he was talented but didn’t have the “fight” or hustle that they need from a guy.
In his post draft interview on Dubs Talk, Larry Harris talked about “we don’t want guys that we have to rev up, Brandin has no problem doing it on his own.” He was probably referring to PBJ and Wiseman. Harris is our lead college scout though, he should have known PBJ was low energy.

Yessir. Obviously not same player. But funny how different the perception is. I know age is a big part of it. But I strongly believe he will have a spot in rotation as roll man with CP3. And everyone else seems to think he is irrelevant this year.

I think being a lob threat alone is going to get him playing time. He's got great hands with a crazy Javale McGee level catch radius. Shorter, obviously, but he's athletic and can easily get above the rim, and a lot more mobile and versatile than Javale otherwise.

If he develops a 3ball like JRich did that would be nice.

This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Might be the most discussed pick 57 in history

The more highlights I watch of this guy, the more and more I like him. He has a really unique skill set, and way more explosive than I thought originally.
Larry Nance comes to mind when watching him.

Fingers crossed it translates to the NBA, if it does he give them more close to the basket depth.

TJD agreed to 4-year deal with GS, 2 guaranteed, no other details yet. Pretty good for #57 (but then I would have picked him at #19 so what do I know?).

Only possible with the new second round pick exception. Teams are liking this exception, Sacramento just used it to sign Colby Jones to the same type of contract, 4 yrs, 2 guaranteed.

I think the fact that he can't finish with his right hand is a huge problem and probably the reason he lasted till 57

Tie has left hand behind his back for 6 weeks, nothing but righty use. I'm talking shooting, layups, dribbling, brushing teeth, tying shoes, eating, weights, wiping ass, wanking. Just the wanking alone will bring that righty up to speed.
