Honestly, that would be a good deal for the Clippers. They get out from under George and Powell's contracts, and they can either resign everyone if they have success, or have almost no contracts in 2024 and completely overhaul the roster.

Why would harden want to stay in Philly when he is constantly the one getting all the blame instead of the mvp of the sixers

James Harden’s camp is fully expecting to be traded to the Clippers it sounds like.

Nobody wants to pay him.
He is a borderline all star at this point, and he will be 34 when the season starts. I don't really know what his plan is here. Obviously he wants to get paid, and that's why we heard all those fake rumors about Houston: he was desperate to get the sixers fold, but they were smarter than that.

Sure why not, gotta add the best talent you can. James will easily play the point here in LA. It’s risky, but that’s pro sports.

Highly doubt that’s the straw that broke the camels back. Harden still wants to win but doesn’t want to do any of the heavy lifting it’s as simple as that.

It's different in this case. Harden could simply opt out and sign somewhere else. This way Philly can get something back and Harden gets to play where he wants to.

If the Clippers could stay healthy I would say them.
Suns wouldn’t have needed the Beal trade. Weapons need a general. Tho their problems are still glaring.

Yea Clips make the most sense. They won’t win anything cause Kawhi, Harden, and/or PG will inevitably be hurt during or before the Playoffs, but they’ll be fun to watch in the regular season if nothing else. They’ll also have no depth.

If I'm the 76ers, I'd ask for Mann and insist that PJ Tucker be included in the deal. Maybe Harden & Tucker for Powell, Covington & Mann

Nah, Lebron played out his contract and then left. You can get on him for the super team thing, but he isn't doing what Kyrie, KD, and Harden have been doing the last few years.

How is that better?

Tough luck for the 76'ers... But we also need to ask at this point in time, just how overrated was "The Process"?

Difference is, Sixers fans wanted Harden gone, Net's didn't. Sixers still have Embiid and Maxey.

This process?

Or this one?

Nah, this one. He’s a free agent the same year, we own your lotto pick. We warned you Sixer fans about Harden, you were an ignorant fan base about it. Eat it.

We have the hometown star you passed on in the draft on a cap friendly deal and you have Tobias Harris.

Now process that.

Image

The only thing that we can process is that the Nets are going to be cellar dwellars, and will continue to try to injure star players, because they dont; have any actual talent apart from Bridges. Man ya'll a salty bunch. Kyrie is the reason it didn't work out for you guys, not Harden.

Harden was the reason it didn't work out for the Sixers, nothing else. Majority of Philly fans love this move.

more like the owners and the nba are colluding againist harden, the problem is they cant completely kaepernick harden without it looking fishy as hell. He is still among the top guards in player impact estimate, and raptor. Despite having a much lower usage rate than most other star guardsin the league, harden just posted his 4th season with 20/10/5 on at least 60% true shooting( most all time), only other guard to do it at all was magic johnson who did it 3x. The nfl had this issue when kaepernick sued them, kaepernick was still good enough of an player to were a judge ruled that it was collusion by owners for him not to be on a roster in the nfl. Harden this past season was much better than keapernick was in the nfl, and basketball reference thought highly enough of harden to place him top 5 in their mvp tracker. So harden will get paid if he has another season like he had in 2023 with the sixers, or a legal fight will ensue
