There must be more to this. Like they learned he was signing with a team or something.

No I think they are just letting around 20 TV personalities go today.

Jalen Rose also let go. Cost-cutting?

Doesn't matter they'll coach up two others.

Don't feel bad for him. Guy made millions at ESPN, bagged Molly for 3 years (his greatest accomplishment IMO), and is a college legend. He'll probably go to FS.

He probably wants at least $10 mil a year. Good for him. He's 27, now is the time to get paid - especially after playing well in the playoffs and being the starting PG for an NBA finals team.

Would be awesome if Miami loses Strus and Vincent and gains nobody good :)

The Celtics don’t want Keldon Johnson. He is a poor man’s JB. Poor defender, lousy passer, low IQ, inefficient. As a Spurs fan, C’s need to pass. Not a good fit for a team with championship aspirations.

No lies here. Although I'd think they'd let Jay "Ime was the first African American coach in Celtics History" Williams go first.

Interesting. Guess this move made sense for Sacramento, to reunite Duarte with Domantas.

Against Boston they're Chris Paul and Reggie Miller

Even you have to admit if there is one organization that you'd have confidence in to coach up scrubs over the years its Miami. Struss, Vincent, Chalmers, Whiteside, oh yeah and ECF MVP Caleb Martin too.

They've also sounded open to a Grant S&T where we take back Jalen Smith or Isaiah Jackson... which would give them a little more cap room.

But two "rotation players" leaves them a 45-48 win team. Mathurin has to blow up or they're boring

On Strus to CLE... The "third team" there implies that CLE wants to add Strus but preserve the MLE so do it via S&T. But MIA doesn't want to take back salary (that's their whole reason for letting Strus go).

So that implies two things for us:

1) CLE could add Strus and still have the MLE to offer Grant, a rumored target (though might be moot with all the cap space IND has and a need for Forward depth)

2) Presumably the Cavs would be sending out some combo of Okoro/Rubio/Wade in that deal. Maybe potential for us to get involved? But we'd have to expand it beyond 3 teams because we can't take salary back

Interesting. I've always had a positive view on him. He's still only 23?

Like Jalen but have strong preference for Isaiah Jackson for the roster as constituted.
