Definitely an underrated part of the deal is the built in chemistry with Domas.

Meh to average but can get better imo.

On and off the floor. Domas and Duarte went out to dinner when Indy traveled to Sac. Locker room gets stronger.

Caitlin Cooper is the best, btw. And Duarte is a great dude and a solid all around player. He’s not perfect in any one way, but he does a little bit of everything.

Portland just waived Watford. Should the Kings take a look?

So is the plan that the bench is Mitchell - Monk - Duarte - Sasha - Lyles

I mean damn that bench can score/shoot, but our defense is going to be even worse this summer.

What I would give to see a big time trade including Barnes/Huerter right now. It's the only thing that makes sense to me

Who do we trade for with a Barnes/Huerter trade package?

Siakam. Add in two picks and I bet it gets done.

The new CBA actually does allow him to be traded I believe since the starting salary is less than a 5% raise. I saw that on twitter after he signed the deal but I can't find the tweet any more to back it up.

This is the guy that comes to mind and makes the most sense.

Ya it was

1. New CBA
2. Raises less than 5%
3. 3 years or less for extension

Barnes gets a raise in the new extension?

I thought his previous contract averaged over $20 million a year.

Barnes didn't get a raise. According to Spotrac his last deal was 4/$85M with an average of $21.2M per year.

That's what I thought, which is why I'm surprised people talking about a 5% raise, unless his last year salary was lower than $18 million.

5% raise is just the threshold for allowing the extended contract to still be traded without needing to wait like 6 months I think it is.

They were explaining new trade rules in the CBA and how HB is eligible to be traded because his new contract (less than a 5% raise) meets the criteria. No one is saying HB got a raise
