Sam Amico says hello to his 77,000 followers.

I just wonder if this FA period will go down like recent years, where all the signings get tweeted out in the first 20 minutes. Or if we'll have actual visits and deliberations among players and teams.

I'm guessing it's going to be the 20-minute burst lol. Teams and agents probably have been having secret discussions for weeks. NBA is the worst at hiding their corruption

I think it makes sense for a 1st time Head Coach, typically assistants do it for the experience but Griff doesn't have that experience. I'd guess this is the only year he does it

He probably also wants to get some hands on time to evaluate who he wants to bring to camp. Quite a few fringe guys here beyond the roster guys and 2 ways.

Being able to tell players that the HC was going to coach the SL team was probably a pretty good draw for players, too.

Is the camp roster still 20? With 15 roster spots and 3 2ways there would only be 2 open camp spots and 1 of them has already gone to Timme. Maybe one of these guys is hoping to catch on for the last spot or even the 3rd 2way if they really show out

What can the Bucks even offer Brooks?

The tax-payer mid-level exception which I think (?) is around 6 or 7 million per year.

I'm not sure I get it for the Bucks but for Brooks it does make some sense. I think it would be like a more extreme version of the Portis thing. Join a team largely full of mature adults and try to rehabilitate your image a bit.

Ingles seems be headed to Orlando. Kinda like Forbes leaving, sucks for the regular season and zero barring on the post season.

Great signing by Orlando if it's just a year and good guy to have around a young team looking to make compete for the play in

Seems like a farewell to Jingles, which I'm fine with.

Jaxson Hayes could be a nice rim-running big man backup. Definitely needs some maturing though.

I'm fine with letting Ingles go, because athletically, I had my reservations.... but it does make our need for ball handlers/playmakers even greater. Hopefully, Horst can find some.

"28-year old man seeks opportunity to mature" seems like a ringing endorsement for an NBA free agent. In other news, let's see what Dion Waiters and Lance Stephenson are up to. I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

That was my thought. He will be a good influence on such a young team. I hope he does well down there.

Totally okay with Brooks on a short-term flyer deal. I know low-efficiency chuckers and boneheads come cheap for a reason but when they're good defenders it feels a little different.

He was going to be a monster. I haven't the slightest idea what he's been upto. I'm sure he's a shell but it's a good story. I imagine he'll make the summer league team look quite a bit better, even if he's got nothing for the NBA.

Loved Jingles but it appears that no contenders seem interested in him which makes sense.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yes, he definitely needs to stop committing domestic battery and shoving officers. But he can kindly f-off and play for someone else.

If Brook stays I think Carter is a higher priority to retain than Crowder.
