The NBA is in a weird spot with knowing what to do with young players coming off their rookie deals that actually develop into solid starting level quality players.

Seems like every team has their own Ant Simons, Tyler Herro, Jordan Poole type of player that's coming into their own, showing they're a solid 20ppg contributor and paying them as such, but the second they get that new contract, their value plummets for no other reason than earning a contract and doing what every team wants to see from their young players... it's a really strange development.

Franchise Player On Max Contract - Great
Players on minimum contracts - Great

Everyone else - These players **** suck and shouldn’t be paid more than 10 mil per year even if they are averaging 20 points per game

Yes, most players have flaws. Yes, they shouldn’t all get max contracts. No, you can’t build every team out of Superstars, rookies, and vet min guys.

It’s hard to find above average starters, and most teams have to over pay to get them, because they are in fact by definition around 16% of the pool of players in the NBA.

Rookie max extensions are a lot better than normal max deals as well. That's probably the best non rookie deal for a superstar

Why is it petty to want to know where you are seeing this because I have not seen anything like it.

If you want me to be more straight-forward I think you are probably misinterpreting the question asked of Dame which was "of these 4 other teams which would you want to play for" to be Dame saying "these are the 4 teams I want to play for".

So I was checking to see if that interview was what you were referring to. But you continue to be vague about where you heard the information you are purporting to be true so I continue to be in the dark.

No, you have misunderstood the report you are referring to, he was asked about 4 teams specifically and mentioned two because of his buddies on those teams. He has not restricted the teams he wants to go to at all and when you say that you are spreading something that is patently untrue and I have an interest in not letting fake news spread here.

I am sorry you take offense to me pointing that out and asking where you got conflicting information from. No offense was meant but you were spreading untruths and I wont apologize for trying to clear that misunderstanding up.
