Losing Watford and Eubanks and adding or re-signing nobody yet feels… strange. Don’t know what to make of it.

Awful and completely unsurprising.

I think I'd rather give Dame away for some crap-o package than lock up jerami and dame for collectively 100 million toward the end of these deals. This is historical bad, worst contract in the modern nba in my eyes. And what's worse we will probably give away 2 firsts just to dump him eventually

It's a battle with POR and TOR to see who can field the most mid team.

Geezus Christ, what the hell is you doing, Portland?!?!?!?

I like Jerami. This price feels steep, and the 5 years is a lot. But losing Watford and Eubanks to (presumably) resign him for 5/160M is an odd move.

The biggest reason I didn't want the Blazers to trade for Grant from Detroit originally is to not be the team that's forced to overpay him and make him the next Tobias Harris.

Blazers traded for him and make him the next Tobias Harris.

Those in glass houses... let's chat when that FVV contract comes in my friend.

We don't need to be Spiderman pointing at himself.

O. My. God.

Harrison Barnes is getting 18M and Grant just got 32M.

If Grant was a condition for Dame to stick around - I would say bye to both.

This contract is going to absolutely haunt Portland.

(Also hate losing Eubanks - its telling one of the Top-3 contenders in the league signed the guy the second FA started - he was always undervalued here - 2nd best defender on the team after Thybulle)

To be fair, Grant is twice the player Barnes is. As expensive as the contract is, let's not talk about Grant like he's a 14ppg player.
