This idea that he's washed seems misguided.

ACL is bad, but im more worried that we will be counting on decent amount of minutes for a guy entering his 18th season of professional bball and will be 36 years old when the season starts

Also, with him signed, Chumas option picked bck up and if Mo is brought back, that likely tells me that WeHam have no expectations for JI to play in 2023-24 (no shocker there)

We'll see, obviously he can still shoot and pass and he was never reliant on superior athleticism anyway. But you could also say that he's a guy already at/beyond retirement age who is trying to extend his career post-ACL. I won't be surprised in either direction, and not worried about it either, since this won't be any kind of damaging financial commitment.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

But yeah.... floor spacer is great. If we really are trying to win next season we cant put our hopes in Houstan and Jett to be that guy.

clearly lost a step and already was not an elite athlete..but still showed could play a decent level last year.

tbh despite weham immobilism and oldness,i am starting to feel they understood the next great tendency of nba.

banchero,blake,ingles,fultz...also wagner and wcj in their own way...start to see the pattern and is the way leading to nba success.

Didn't Weltman try signing Ingles back in 2017 when he was a RFA?

As a forward vet he should be fine depending on the salary. Hopefully this means Okeke is gone

I like the signing (depending on deal) and he could be a solid vet for us. But is he really gonna play? I think he should be our back up sf.

But does he have enough on the tank.....

No, he has nothing on the tank, completely zero. Horrible signing.

no offense, but you do not know what you are saying.
ingles playing stand still has a qi higher than 80% of others nba players.

guy really know what to do with ball in his hands and we do not lack cutters and athletes.

only minus:you have to pretect him on D,can't play minutes with moe wagner in second unit, especially when isaac will be out.

but it is a quality sign and we absolutely need veterans wings

Please. 36 years old white guy with a big stomach, he was zero in playoffs this year. What do you expect from him? 2 mins at garbage time? That's ok for him. Yeah, yeah, yeah he can stand in the corner for 5 mins, fantastic.

He was the brake at Utah not the gas pedal. The cheap white guy, who can shoot sometimes.

Haven't seen that and would be flabbergasted if that was it.

My guess is more like 2 years, 10-15M total with the 2nd year some sort of partial guarantee or team option.

If that's the deal, I would assume the final year is non guaranteed. I hope.

That was my assumption too. I wouldn't be shocked if we had to give him a second year to keep him off a vet minimum elsewhere, but 3/33 would blow my mind.

It would match what he made in his prime... A little rich and a pay raise, but inflated salaries are a thing. Interested to see what is official

2/22. Now we wait if the 2nd year is a guarantee or not.

I assure you he's in the rotation at that price.

22 millions is a good price, especially if the second year is not entirely guaranteed.
if you offer him the minimum or just a little more,is gonna sign with a contender.

tbh a good sign,WeHam is doing a perfect job to build this team,i have to admit i am impressed.
