I think it's a great signing and I would not be surprised at all if he is starting over a healthy Conley later in the season.

Yes and in games he started last year averaged over 7 assists a game.

We haven’t had a lot of great ball handlers and great passers out of the pick-and-roll since I’ve been here. We didn’t have anyone like that before James. Shake was the best we had on the team at that. He’s really good at it. Shake is up there as far as reading the defense and making those types of plays.”

Fantastic signing for the Wolves. He’s a rock solid guard that has the size to defend SGs and the playmaking skills to run backup PG. His shot disappeared for a couple years in Philly but he regained it last year. Unfortunately we just didn’t have a lot of minutes for him with Harden/Maxey/Melton on the team.

He’ll be a substantial upgrade over Nowell in the rotation imo.

I think the biggest thing I'll be keeping an eye on is his propensity to sometimes dribble the air out of the basketball. Luckily he's good enough to usually make something happen but that's a habit I'd like to see broken.
