Wonder how much he got? Woj just reported 2 years. Anyone know?

He got their 4 million biannual exception. Not very much.

Seth has been crocked since being traded to the Nets

Yuta is the one that you guys should’ve pursued

Signing Seth would have killed my Paul George dream, so I'm fine.

Somehow turning Harden into Trae this summer would be amazing. Figure out what to do with Maxey later.

Darkhorse move: Harden+ for Jaylen? I can’t imagine Boston really wants to supermax him + Jayson.

Yeah it would, but unless we trade Joel that's nothing happening.

Just out of curiosity, what's the job? No particulars or names necessary (if it's like a government agency or something). I'm just curious as to what kind of industry would make those restrictions.

Legal/Gov - just have a strict employer. Mind you it fits with my preference as I don't much care for social media generally. Seems like it has made people forget that their inside voices should remain inside and that words can hurt folks you know; but also folks you don't known and who haven't done anything to you.

Better chance we turn him into Dejounte Murray in some way, which I would not hate as a backcourt with Maxey.

Yes! I would get behind a Harden for Murray trade.

I’m gonna sag on the FVV signing. I get why the Rockets did it & think it’s decent idea. They badly need adult at PG to steer the ship as their young guys develop. When this contract expires, Jalen Green will be will be 25 years old along with the rest of their youth & then can move forward without him.

Harden would’ve been a huge mistake for them because he’d totally f*ck up that locker room.

Harden and Trae together sounds like a nightmare offense.

Whatever the Sixers decide to do there needs to be a direction. Either go all in to win or take a step back to reset and go for it next summer. Them trading Harden for a package of role players that don’t offer long term flexibility plus signing a few bench guys and trying to sell to the fans that team + Nurse can win a title is not going to go over well. That’s half measure nonsense.

I’d like to think they aren’t going to do that, but I’ll never put anything past this organization.

Louis King is on the SL roster, so maybe there's a chance he gets another look here.

And it is difficult to find bigger point guards to pair with Maxey, so a nice fit from that perspective.

It would have to be an offshoot of or after a Harden to LAC or Phoenix trade sine Atlanta is looking to cut salary and has no use for Harden, but could move Murray for matching salary and a pick/player we obtain for Harden.

I guess we didn’t have interest in Monte Morris for a second.

Neubeck has already told us the plan without telling us the plan.

FA 2024.

“The Sixers will not re-sign any of their own FA except for Paul Reed and they will be very quiet in free agency.”

They aren’t going to sign any multi year deals other than Reed and maybe Petrusev, and all the first wave guys are going to want multi year deals.

The deal for Harden will be expirings and picks.

Now, if they can get Dame that all changes.

But what you said was incorrect according to NBA.com. Only six second rounders, swaps, and Paul. No lightly protected first. Jordan Poole wasn’t in that deal either, he was a salary dump in a subsequent deal. The Sixers will have plenty of opportunity to take bad contracts in subsequent deals, if they choose, so we have to compare actual deals to evaluate objectively.

He wasn’t trying to evaluate objectively. He was trying to trick you.

Honestly, if we are evaluating trades after subsequent moves, then we have to see if Morey moves any parts from the Harden deal. He likely could be looking to acquired assets to make a move for another player.

Normally, I would agree but the trade happened so close together it shouldn't really be viewed as a separate move. Heck, we don't even know if they submitted paperwork as a separate deal there is a legitimate chance was a three-team deal the timelines were that close

Beal should hold less value due to his contract and no trade clause. The wizards had zero leverage and still got a decent package for him. I don't get why we should accept a poo platter

Hitting on 2nd rounder or undrafted rotation players is one way to get great value. The Herb Jones and Austin Reaves 4/54 deals are steals in this market.

So Pascal Siakam and Murray are the top of the food chain in the free agent class of 2024. So the plan is just to coach up the players we have this season get them familiar with Nurse. Then have Nurse call on Pascal and say do the right thing! Pascal will be 31 by the time free agency rolls around. Murray 27.

If it was any other team I'd be like you know that's a solid plan. But it's always the unknown factors that seem to come along and bites this team in the butt. For example players forgetting how to shoot. Players refusing to shoot. Oh so with no major changes the fans can look forward to another 2nd round exit. Great!
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

new league year starts now so Harden to Clippers becomes trickier.
