The new CBA actually does allow him to be traded I believe since the starting salary is less than a 5% raise. I saw that on twitter after he signed the deal but I can't find the tweet any more to back it up.

Ya it was

1. New CBA
2. Raises less than 5%
3. 3 years or less for extension
Wow I like that a lot

If you trade him the kicker gives him about twenty million per year.

Interesting.

Lyles back to Sac felt inevitable but happy to see it official.

Love Lyles, happy about that move.

Kuzma officially 4/102

So AAV of 7.5 more than Barnes. Gotta say, I'd have given him the money, think hes worth that to a Kings team. Maybe he really didn't want to come to Sac and be a 4th option? Guy is happy to sit in Washington splitting 40 shots a game with Poole?

Sounds like Kuzma wanted to be the main option so he stays in Washington. Deuces

2 years and 16 million for Trey Lyles and we don't cut into cap space for the deal since it's early bird. Very solid.

HB's contract is looking better and better. Grant 5/$160, Kuz 4/$102, Green 4/$100 with a player option year 4. Gross.

I'm happy Trey is back. He should have a good season with his established role. Running it back has it's advantages we aren't used to around here.

Not sure if this is legit or not but would love it at this price.

I'm hoping that's 7.25m per and not 14.5m per. At 7 that's not a bad deal at all for the type of role I expect him to have.

Monte doing nice work. Staying with high character guys.
Love the HB signing, Lyles is an overpay but worth it and I love Duarte's game. Wondered why he dropped so much this past season.
Waiting for a Barnes/Huerter/Picks trade for someone.

So as of right now, the Kings are?
Fox/Davion/Dozier
Huerter/Monk/Jones
Keegan/Duarte/Edwards/Slawson (2 Way)
Barnes/Vezenkov/Lyles
Sabonis

Do the Kings still have a small amount of cap space? Like $3.5m?
As far as backup 5s are concerned.

Mason Plumlee

Fell in love with the Webber led teams as a kid and always kept up with you guys and made sure to go to as many Kings-Wizard games as I could growing up. I remember being at the Wizards game where John Salmons hit the buzzer beater after Arenas hit a FT to go up three. Unfortunately for the Kings it was .1 seconds too late.

Anyway, all that is to say…. I like your team a lot and with the Wizards now rebuilding, I hope y’all just keep getting better. Kyle Kuzma is not the answer to get better. Stay away especially at the price you would have to pay. He is inefficient, he chucks, he just isn’t it.

Nice sentiment, and you guys prevented it from happening

So, we got one more swing to make this worthwhile, potentially. Plumlee?

Seems like we have more flexibility where we can still sign someone up to 4/52 in addition to Barnes/Lyles/Duarte/Sasha if I'm reading this right.

I doubt that happens. Saw reports earlier today that Zubiac is on the block because the plan is for Plumlee starting at center for the Clippers next season.

Something has to be brewing, no other explanation.

Team hasn't officially announced anything except Harrison Barnes & Colby Jones trade. Holmes deal not official, duarte not official, lyles + Sasha not official.

I'm still pulling for Grant Williams. I could absolutely live with that.

Fox - Huerter - Murray - Grant Williams - Sabonis
Mitchell - Monk - Barnes - Sasha - Lyles
Colby - Duarte - Edwards - Queta

2way - Ellis, slawson

Still room for a 3rd string pg or another center

The Holmes trade cannot be completed until July 6th. Odds are Duarte will be absorbed by the Holmes TPE if they are acting over the cap. As for Sasha, he's probably torn.
