I like this one, hoping we also snag a stretch 4 from the trade market since cap space is gone now

I wonder if that means we are completely done now with 15 on board. We still have the room exception but that’s likely not going to make sense for us now unless we trade or waive someone.

Big upgrade over CoJo. Only gave up a 2nd round pick. The roster is getting crowded though so I expect some more moves.

Does this mean Hayes will be traded soon?

I’m guessing Bojan, Hayes, and Bagley are all on high trade alert now. Surely more’s to come to balance the roster.

So we just used up all our cap space for Joe Harris, Monte Morris, and a 2nd rounder.

(We got two 2nds from Nets, but gave one to Washington for Morris)

The Morris trade = once again we give up the pick while also taking on the salary….

62 games played just over 27 minutes per game.

Shot 48% from the field and 38% from 3.

If we don't trade Hayes he's surely riding the pine.

Cade - Morris
Ivey - Burks

Sasser & Hayes in a battle for 5th guard in the rotation.

Even assuming we run Cade at the 3 some I still would play Sasser over Hayes simply due to the better shooting

Yup, and after some of the deals given out Monte Morris for a 2nd rounder is fine. Morris is a rotation worthy player. Not as good as Burks IMO but better than what we've put out as of recent. This will likely give Sasser a year to learn the ropes.

C: Duren / Wiseman / Bagley
F: Bojan / Stewart / Eugene
F: Harris / Ausar / Livers
G: Ivey / Burks / Sasser
G: Cade / Morris / Hayes

Still not 100% sure where Stewart fits but I think this gives us shooters in the starting lineup and the bench unit.

I think it's a NBA rule where you have to give up $110,000 or a top 55 protected 2nd round pick in any trade. You can't just give them nothing apparently.

We gave the nets $110,000 for Harris so I'm hoping it's top 55 protected to keep this at a bare minimum

Always loved Monte but they have a zillion guards now. This has to mean the end for Killian.

Everybody wanted shooters. Well, Weaver is stockpiling them now so I'd have to think there's at least a trade or two in the works to balance things out. The roster is awfully crowded.

Well my point was….they should have given us the pick for taking on the salary. Not the other way around.
